Only 4 minutes in and I feel both ill with regret and hindsight, thankful you shared, and know who I will send this to after listening. Once upon a time I put my younger brother in hospital. Once, twice, nine years in. With and without his consent at times. It was heart wrenching, all consuming and exhausting. That’s just the experience from the outside, because after all, there is no guidebook or users manual to mental unrest. You’ll notice I hesitate to say illness. Because medically prescribed mental illness should be called just that. Medical poisoning. The blanket prescribing of antipsychotic medication in hospitals needs to stop. The response to a family members statement “this medication had made my sad brother suicidal and scary”, should not be met with “ok. Then we will up the medication. If it gets worse, it’s not for them “.

Just another evangelist. I remember when be was questioned about the 911 attack on New York. He said the hijackers would not be saved from their God regardless and they would burn. Then when questioned about Haiti he said everyone in Haiti was the devil. And they would all burn. And of course he was buried in a quarter of a million dollar coffin Sorry so many lost so much money.

Hi, I am a recruiter for the death care industry. I appreciate Jasmine sharing her story, but disagree with her discouraging mortuary students from doing their apprenticeship at the same time as school. I agree that working full-time while attending school may be too much. However, many funeral homes hire part-time funeral assistants and cases done while working will count towards required cases for school. This may vary by state since the legal requirements for licensing vary by state. This is the perfect opportunity to get some experience in the field, gain a better understanding of how a funeral home operates, and discover if this truly is their calling. It also gives you an edge over others who graduated without any experience. Thank you to all who enter this field and stay in it, you are definitely underappreciated!

I constantly get amazed, baffled, overwhelmed by the ignorance we have in our country regarding infant male circumcision. Doesn't anyone exploring the subject ever question, WHAT IS THE FUNCTION AND PURPOSE OF THE FORESKIN ?? Obviously all males are born with a foreskin, as a matter of fact all male mammals animals and humans alike are born with foreskins or sheaths..........WHY??????......FOR PROTECTION !!!! Shouldn't this give you a clue ?? What are we protecting ? Why are we changing what nature created and at least try to learn the reasons. The male penile gland and the vagina are both INTERNAL ORGANS. They are not to be exposed until nature says it's ready, which we call puberty. At that time with the onset of early erections the foreskin starts to retract on its own. I get blue in the face when I hear people who represent the medical community who are supposed to have the right answers for all of us give us so much misinformation about the male foreskin.......Why???........because they don't teach foreskins in medical school !!! Hence the ignorance of these doctors. Circumcision creates a sexually crippled man for the rest of his life. Does this sound extreme ??? Lets do some research. When a circumcised man enters his sexual life, he has already lost at birth 20,000 nerve endings in his foreskin including the frenulum, (the most sensitive part of his foreskin). The penile gland which has now been exposed for several years has started to keritinized (dries up). The loss of tissue sometimes makes erections difficult. The penile gland because the loss of sensitivity becomes numb, intercourse becomes an ordeal because orgasms take longer because of increased friction, bad for himself, bad and discomforting for his partner and eventually leading to erectile dysfunction !!!......DON'T BELIEVE IT ????......DO THE RESEARCH !!!.. Unbeknown to himself, he has what I call " FRICTION SEX ". An intact man when he has intercourse uses a " gliding action " pleasurable to himself as well as his partner.....NO FRICTION !!!!! as nature intended it to be. People, especially expectant parents need to do some honest research. Beware, you won't get it from the medics, they never learned the function and purpose of the foreskin in medical school. Save your children, circumcision is brutal and barbaric, just watch the video and see for yourself........if you can.

Watching this is SO DIFFICULT knowing what I do now in Feb. 2024... Damon Thibodeaux lost his life in 2021 from Covid-19. He had recently been vaccinated but unfortunately it had not had time to build up an immunity to his system and they thought he was going to make it! He told his brother he's "ready to get out of here"... the hospital... then the next call his brother got was from the hospital asking if they could "stop doing life-saving compressions because Damon's lungs had collapsed & his heart had stopped.." Omg! I cried when I just found this out after watching all the programs he was in and promoting "Innocence Project," which I definitely SUPPORT. One thing I know and feel and as a 1769 Doctrine says "better 10 guilty men free, than one Innocent Man convicted"... Any more our countries two bloodthirsty for Revenge.. two wrongs don't make a right.❤

"Being inclusive". What a nonsense. Who excludes anyone from being Naturist? What club has "no blacks" policy??? Are there "white naturists" clubs? Nope. There are plenty of "black naturists" associations and similar. So who discriminates? Majority of people in clubs are white? So??? No one is excluding blacks, they are statistically smaller population in USA, and they aren't going. I've never seen blacks behind a fence of a club hoping to be allowed in. I'm an immigrant, English is not my first language and my accent is obvious. I've never seen another immigrant from my home country in the club. I'm smaller minority than blacks. Do i cry about it? Do people make me feel bad or don't allow into the club? No! So, stop being a victim!!!

I do not see a decision here. Circumcision prevents smegma, STDs and infections. Circumcision makes the penis easier to clean. Most women prefer circumcised penises. There is no reason to keep the foreskin. If done on a baby, he will not remember it and it will heal within a few days. A bonus for me is that I am circumcised and I would want my son's penis to look like mine.
@fritnat

This gives the false impression of a neutral discussion on ritual penectomy. There is a very clear medically correct answer and that is "to first do no harm" which means don't mutilate! The decision should be a personal one, that is for the owner of the part amputated, not a parent, and no it is not a parental decision at all, no more than the decision to have a neonatal "labiaplasty" or clitoridectomy, some parents make in other cultures where the practice is gender inclusive. Most parents in the world never give it the least thought let alone think of it as a decision. turning to the internet is tricky because the internet is biased by the US cutting culture and there is a tendency for people to find whatever confirms their "gut feeling". A Malaysian mother who decided to have her daughter circumcised explained she had done her research on the internet which resulted in her decision. There is no real medical component, the fact that it has become medicalised in US culture doesn't make it in any way a medical procedure but a medicalised one. The rate of cancer, despite the obvious fact that the loss of a bodypart makes the risk zero, is about the same in Denmark as US so that claim too is bogus. In fact normal boys are more likely to contract breast cancer and yet nobody is suggesting prophylactic neonatal amputations of that part of the body! Anyone making the bogus claim of lowering the risk of STIs should explain how it doesn't appear to have helped since US has record high levels compared to Europe! The medical "expert" who considered herself neutral, in fact makes money out of performing this harmful cultural practice and came with medical mis and disinformation. There are no real medical benefits from neonatal ritual penectomy only bad excuses dreamed up by the medical establishment in support of their business. UTIs in the first year of life for males born without developmental defects in their urinary tract are almost unheard of in industrialised countries with no tradition of ritual penectomy. In US the comparatively high rate of these UTIs is due to iatrogenic care thanks to the cutting hygiene myth which was evident from Chris' bathtime story _make sure we rinse and gently wash._ From the data in the US Global Health Data Exchange, the UTI mortality rate for days old male neonates is almost fifty times that here in Denmark where it is not practiced. In the very rare cases where infant penectomy really is medical, the modern standard is general anaesthesia which only shows that the medicalisation of the ritual using local anaesthesia is not medical at all, but a medicalised ritual.Purporting it to be otherwise is medical fraud. The ritual amputation of normal healthy functioning bodyparts from normal healthy neonates and infants is not providing healthcare, just the opposite. The "muddy medical" guidelines are from those with a financial and unethical stake in the business, others eg the Dutch doctors association is very clear that there is no convincing evidence of health benefits. It is a harmful cultural practice on children among many others. The early biblical tradition was not the extreme amputation practiced in modern day US but only that of the acroposthion, the part beyond the head. If fathers really want their kids part to look like theirs then they should try restoring their body back to normal. It's not about awakening the child to their cultural, religious traditions but branding them as belonging to the community for life so they will know where they belong like it or not! Yes, there are a lot of men who wished they hadn't been robbed of this most sensitive bodypart, around 10% according to a Yougov poll around decade ago, likely more by now and growing. According to the same poll the proportion of those wishing their parents had put them througfh this ritual as neonates was a tenth of that. In fact far more women opt to have their parts _trimmed_ than men however nobody suggests that's a reasonable argument when it comes to the female counterpart. Parents do not do this for the sake of their child, but for their own sake, to show allegiance to their community. Implying that the normal parts of a man's body are somehow unhygienic is bodyshaming and to be reprimanded. It is one of the most common tactics by cutting communities to enforce the practice, irrespective of gender I might add. To get a better perspective on this I refer to the YT video with Hibo Wardere who describes this type of bullying in the school playground.

I enjoyed reading your excellent and informative response. However, I'm confused about your use of the word "penectomy". Penectomy refers to the removal of the entire penis and I don't understand your use of this word. Please explain.
@fritnat
@fritnat 5 ай бұрын
@@vincentdisalvo-yv3ge You're welcome. Your confusion is with the definition. The suffix -ectomy refers to the complete or _partial_ excision or amputation of a bodypart for example a vasectomy refers to the complete or partial excision of the vas deferens performed normally as an elected standard sterilisation procedure in which only a tiny portion of the vas deferens on either side is removed with ligation of the cut ends. Now it is standard procedure to take a tissue sample to test for cancer and this is not refered to as an -ectomy but a biopsy. Since a biopsy involves the removal of part, however small, of a body part, it raises the issue of what constitues a _part_ with regards to an -ectomy. Here I would argue that when the part removed is regenerative ie there is no permanent loss of the part and any resulting dysfunction, then it is not an -ectomy. One can imagine for example a situation in which cancer is suspected in the vas deferens requiring a biopsy in which a small amount of tissue is removed. The damage done is only superficial as the lost tissue is quickly replaced with new tissue growth and the canal remains operational - hopefully. Indeed vasectomies were only ligations until it was discovered that the cut ends occasionally joined together again and regained function making it necessary to remove a section making it an -ectomy. The female counterpart, the fallopian tubes, on the other hand only require a ligation to garantee sterility. Cutting communities' disdain for the 4skin extends to even denying that it is part of the pen..! This means that for them it is not a penectomy as no part or even damage is done to the pen.. itself. It is regarded as a tiny piece of skin, the removal of which is not considered an -ectomy as skin is generally regenerative. This is the same as a tummy tuck not being a gastrectomy both because the skin is not part of the stomach and because it does not become in any way dysfunctional as a result. In essence it is denying that the 4skin has any belonging or function which of course is necessary it its loss is of no consequence as cutting communities preach. One could argue that the correct medical term is a posthectomy, the amputation of the 4skin, however it is not just the 4skin which is involved but the frenulum and therefore penectomy is the most medically correct term. By convention the term is circumcision however when convention is misleading and is in part responsible for considerable suffering as in this case, a change is imperative and the proper term should be used. Incidently the name of the vas deferens has been changed to the ductus deferens as anatomically it is not a vessel but a duct and so the term vasectomy has changed to deferenectomy - ductectomy usually refers to a procedure on the female nip..., however it hasn't caught on much yet. In any case it demonstrates that terms do change in tact with our anatomical understanding and so there is no reason why the same doesn't apply to ancient amputation rituals!
