Thanks. I'd of course seen people firing these muzzle loaders in movies but - never actually seen the whole loading and firing procedure. I'd never actually seen a complete paper cartridge though I had seen the caps. I had some friends in the 20th Maine. They weren't in the movie but knew some of the people who were. I got to see one of their rifles once. That bit about the differences in whether or not the paper was put down the bore was good. I didn't realize there was a difference. .

You know I’m not real sure I was hoping they would have put something in the box that talked about it but they didn’t. I was talking to small arms solutions and school of the American rifle and they believe that the bolt tail was undersized or the carrier key may have been leaking but with out being able to test it they were not sure for certain

Glad to hear you were happy with your bolt carriers. In my opinion,no ar collection is complete without a Colt in it.

@@garrettpittman7374that’s a shame and unbelievable I’ve heard some bad stuff about them in fact I believe there the ones that don’t even have a warranty. I could be wrong I was going through all the AR15 MFGs to see what there warranty was to compare to colts 1 year and there was one I believe it was ruger that was like yea there’s no warranty.

You have to use a bolt measurement tools to know if the bolts are correct.

What do u mean by bolt measurement tools like headspace gauges or are you talking about pin gauges
