Also, where do you think Phil Lynott got the sound for his TOTP theme.

I used to love catching Peno at the Courthouse Hotel in Darlinghurst, we used to get smashed. Lugged for them alot in the 80's 90's. Top blokes... very fair.

Their stage antics could easily distract you from their music, but not me. Yes their antics made me smile, but their music was so well composed it raised em up above most 'pop' bands. First saw them in the UK in Preston 1978. Admired them ever since. Chuffed that 'Crowded House' went mainstream and made money, but miss the old Enz line up. But I'm an old guy now (64) so I'm bound to reminisce.

This isn't funny like the one on that TV show. The jump off the speaker was kind of amusing.

I really wish I could find a good video of Jeff doing his wheelchair antics. He was a real legend of many talents and what a gorgeous speaking voice as well as singing voice. Us Aussies were certainly very blessed with the musical talent back in the 60's and 70's. Suck eggs rest of the world! 😅🤣

I had been a big fan of hers until a few years ago when I went to a house concert she put on. Since me and my bestie are not pretty and are not wealthy, we wore the best we had. Wendy and the hosts were polite to our faces but we saw them laughing at us when they thought we did not see them. Almost like back in HS. Haven't listened to her since. She crossed a line.
