some of these bridges like you see here are rolling lift spans so the bridge rolls backwards to open up as you zoomed in on the mechanical room. the room actually does down so the counterweight of the bridge can lift the span up. Lowering a bridge into position is an art.

Nice! I've never seen her from that angle. I'm always on her when she's leaving Miami looking down on that beach area. We'll be back aboard June 18th! It always feels like we're moving much slower than that.

You're telling me.. That all this is going on. Sirens, alarms, bells, gates closing etc. Even a guy on a intercom. Some lady decided to cross anyways and died?

There are no public reports of any of the bells/gates not working that day. Will have to wait for the trial for any additional info
