This is without a doubt one of the most insightful interviews and looks into what really happened to Bachir aka Chiren aka Athene. Not enough people discuss the concussion, I mean yea Athene was already pretty stubborn but he seemed way more open minded and had way more patience and tolerance pre-concussion. Perhaps there were other variables, but the fact that 'The Mommy' and the 'Brother' were both very hesitant over Athene's newer projects tells me everything I need to know. I was a fan for a long time, even got involved to the point of being a moderator ect... but I bounced when they moved everyone to Germany and started getting deep into the 'click' shit. It stopped being about making great content while also doing great work with activism/philanthropy. The projects were more focused on shady shitty pump and dump type of ideas. There was no long term anymore, it is a shame Dries never stood up for himself and tried to check Athene. Dries is one of the most talented editors I've seen and that is going off his work from over a decade ago. With all the software and hardware available new Dries could be fifteen times the editor he is now.
