Good video ! I am looking for my first electric guitar and i want to play rock but also indie, blues and pop, do you think this guitar is quite versatile for play that ?
@remyhansen8 күн бұрын
Hi there! It’s a great versatile guitar for sure! But the looks might be a bit too much for Indie etc. But playing wise , sound wise and quality wise you can’t go wrong! There’s also a newer model that came out this year with a double locking tremelo. That might be a bit much on your first electric guitar , but I thought I’d let you know anyway! Good luck! Best, Remy

Another Paul Gilbert fan. Much better than being a fan of that guy from Dream Theatre (I don't remember his name right now)... PG is one of my guitar heroes too, but I prefer Charvel to Ibanez.

Sir how is the action? High or low?
@remyhansen15 күн бұрын
Hi there, on this particular model it was pretty low/ easy to play! But all Ibanez guitars are or should be easy to set up and play as easy as you desire! All the best, Remy

I don’t hear much tonal difference to be honest ..

Yeah, I don't think I'll be getting one since they put the volume knob directly under the bridge pickup, which makes it unplayable because it'll always be in the way...

I recommend 8870 because of its unique design. Due to the time-consuming design, I believe it will no longer be produced. The sound quality when tapped is more beautiful than other J-customs. I'm sorry, my English is not good🙇♀️

I was finally able to purchase RG8870 last week. I'm very happy. JCRG is attractive deep bass and long sustain. RG8870 has a chimy and delicate atmosphere that is the best. Asymmetrical necks take some getting used to. But I liked the RG8870 more than JCRG❣️.

I’m on the fence to get a 8870 my other choice would be a older Ibanez Jem if you played them both can you shed some light

Looks like you're using the orange dunlop tortex picks just like Paul. I'm so used to a 1.14mm tortex sharp I couldn't play with one of those to save my life.
What's the name of 7 or 8 string on the wall in front of the made in Japan poster?

i love the aesthetic as someone who is getting back into the guitar, but lol Idk about the pickups ,, would you change them for what the S series standard has ? the airzone and all that.
@pbboeye10123 ай бұрын
Phas, I am right there with you. Starting to get back after decades out, actually. But from what I'm seeing on this line and even some of the 'S' (like the JivaJr), I think long-term I would target some high grade upgrades.
