No comments by the artist, no list of materials used, no indication of color selections or any reason why you are doing anything. Your end result might be nice to look at but as a tutorial or helpful lesson, it has failed. You're asking us to watch you paint basically.

You are such a great animal painter. I love when you paint birds, or any animals, really. Love that you captured the shadows and light on the elephants head (from the sun and trees, or whatever is surrounding the elephant). Thank you for this tutorial. Makes me want to paint elephants. I have actually saved a jar of dirty pinkish water so I could see where I wanted to paint my poppies. My son went nuts when I tried to explain why I needed it. Of course I blamed you! It does work. As always I am a devoted fan.

Another gorgeous poppy painting!!! Do you have photos of every poppy painting you've ever done? It would be so cool to see them one by one or side by side. They are my most favorite thing you do. I bought one if you remember...it was meant for a friend who proved to be quite unfriendly so I kept it for myself. 🙂❤

I am new to your channel and am baffled by how you manage to move the paint around in the poppy. I don’t know if my paper is too rough or I just haven’t gotten the feel for how wet/dry the paint should be, but I love the separate but blended that you do. Any ideas? I realize you just used a plain sketch book and I’ll try that next. maybe it’s my paints.

Hello! And welcome thank you for subscribing 😁 I think that you are probably not loading your bruise with enough water? Use a big round brush and fill it so it almost drips but not quite, if that makes sense? You need a lot of pigment too, more than you think! And keep practicing! I’ve been painting for over 30 years 😄
