D. A. Enyart (David) was first lieutenant colonel and later colonel of the 1st Kentucky Infantry Regiment made up of men mostly from Cincinnati. The acorn has nothing to do with knowledge...it is the corps badge of the XIV Corps, which the 1st Kentucky was in for a period of time. The triangle is the IV Corps badge, in which the 1st Kentucky also served.

Remembering a little blind girl, Julie Sebald, who lived from 1969-1980. She played the lead angel directing the choir in the elementary school Christmas play and was near and dear to the hearts of her teachers and classmates. A picture of wildcat cubs was hung in the hallway at Rosedale elementary school in Middletown in Julie's honnor since she loved cats. Now she leads the angelic choirs in heaven. R.I.P., Julie. This little blind boy loves you and misses you too.

Thanks, I grew up in Monroe in the 1960s, it would be fun to see photos from the post-WWII era.

Very helpful. But unfortunately difficult to see everything as your camera wasn’t pointing to the right place.

I recognize the house as 3205 Central Ave. The lot to the left of the home is vacant in the video and I believe the home that occupies the site today was built after 1940

Hello 👋 Are you located in Middletown, Ohio? I'm new to the MidPointe Library. I grew up in Middletown, Ohio and I've been trying to search for info and pictures of the farm that used to occupy the area just east of Creekview Elementary school where Regent Drive is located. We always called that area Ayershire although I'm not completely sure if that's correct. Anyway, I did find some info and pictures of the farm that used to be where Creekview school is located now and it was very interesting to say the least, I wish there were more pics and stories about that area. It's kinda hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that all of that area was farmland at one time, it's strange to see an old farmhouse and some of the people that lived there many years ago, I didn't know a farmhouse sat there and I grew up there. If you could point me in the right direction on how to possibly find out more about that area I would really appreciate it. I looked at MidPointe's website hoping to find a way to contact someone but I could not find a link. Thank you

Hi from Washington state! We found your virtual storytime during the shut down last year, and have been watching with my 3 kids on and off since then. Miss Mary is such a wonderful storyteller!

I've always wanted to try nanowrimo but never found the courage. It seems a little less intimidating after watching this so thank you! Although, I'm definitely more gardener than architect, I think some of the prep ideas will help me stay on track.

I love Hoopla! When CloudLibrary was phased away, I was kind of sad at the time, but I didn't realize that everything had just moved over to Hoopla instead. That's preferable for me because it sort of streamlines the ways in which I can access the same content. I also have Libby installed and it was a lot of work to juggle back and forth between looking for the same title on all three platforms.
