@WeltedWare also have you heard of cruxdeluxe? They've got some well made horsebutt and horsehide Jodhpurs and Boondockers at pretty reasonable prices. Designs are very reminiscent of Clinch. They've got a summer sale at the moment plus free shipping on their first order. I went with some boondockers.

Waxed Flesh was my first pick. It don't wrinkle like my forehead , it rolls . Smooth inside , restorable & have that comfortable CXL stretch. Sometimes it require some warm up on the feet to be fully pliable , totally worth that slight drawback.

Why stichdown over goodyear welted. Its much harder to get a cobbler to resole stichdown as i understand. Its why i avoid this type of shoe.

I'm brazilian, and I bet that the $700 he is asking is not because he is overpricing, it's simply because of the amount of taxes we pay in every transaction here in this hellhole of a country. Everything we do we basically need to pay twice, once for us and another to the state. Inevitably everything becomes more expensive.

Hi there - I have Truman Stone Ramblers in 7.5D (79 Last), Grant Stone Diesel in 7.5D (Leo Last) and Red Wing 9060 in 7.5D. I noticed XBXSBOOTS mostly offer E width boots. Is it possible to get them to make a boot in D width?

For the cost, Winson is probably the best MTO shoe and boot maker. Take price out of the analysis and I think ACME is the best MTO shoe on the market.

I realize this video was 2 years ago, but I wish I could still get a pair with this orange- pumpkin looking shade of leather. It has really grown on me. I could have purchased them back in 2019 and went with the Brown CXL 403 instead.

I love your reviews and respect your opinion. I disagree with your take on JFs review of OCT 10. Justin claimed that OCT 10 had shoes that rivaled ACME and owning both, I agree. I now own two pair of Ghurka and think both are amazing. I also own a pair of Acme with another on order. The differences between the brands is small. Both produce incredible shoes with great attention to detail. The most noticable difference is ACME is 3x in price. All Justin was saying is that OCT 10 is producing a shoe very close to ACME and he is correct.

@@brian791 The only brand I know that caters to men larger than a size 12 and with a narrow foot is Cru Nonporeil. Kenwin the owner is a great person and eager to help.

@@brian791 Taking the sizing issue out of the equation, Oct10 makes a wonderful shoe for less than $1000. Acme at $1500- 2000 is phenominal. It is hard to pick one over the other. I like both brands and own both brands.

I received my first pair from Elegal last week and I am impressed. I ordered a purple patina last man. He was very responsive to Insta messages and I really like the shoes. I’m sure I’ll order more from him .

@@WeltedWare I had an issue w fit on the first pair he shipped and he remade the shoe for me at no cost and fixed the fit issue, I am customer for life. I understand the risk of buying shoes wo trying them on first. He offered to remake them and I was blown away by his kindness. I look forward to watching his brand grow.
