As much as tourism creates employment and contributes to the economy, its downside is that many tourists degrade the environment and show no respect to the place or the locals living there. I have seen many places where tourists have destroyed spots through vandalism and caused damage. If people do not know how to respectfully visit a place, especially as tourists, then these are the ones who should be banned from visiting. A relevant topic.
