The spoiler that you have on your car, did that void any type of warranty?
@VBWRXY2 ай бұрын
If you are worried about warranty then I wouldn't really change anything, or get things done by Subaru themselvea. Subaru offer one from factory on the Club Spec model in Aus and I think optional for the S4 in Japan, so they wouldn't offer it, if it voided warranty, even if this is a 3rd party wing. Warranty of panels would only be an issue if there was a major defect to the panel that would be covered by such a warranty. Anything else would be classified as general wear and tear or accident damange and wouldn't get covered anyway.

A car dealership near me (Edmonton, AB) has a blue 2022 wrx with the STI wing which looks quite nice. However, they went way too far and put STI badges on the front and rear, now that should be a crime!

@VBWRXY2 ай бұрын

My next install is the COBB shift plate and bushing, white line rear sub frame inserts and a stiffer improved gear box mount, a note to all, beware of the IAG Air to oil separator (AOS) they don't fit Australian model vehicles where the master brake cylinder clashes with the AOS canister install.
@VBWRXY2 ай бұрын
Shifter plate makes a huge difference to the gear shift. I think the Group N gear box mount is the best option - stiffer than stock, but still some give in comparision to say the solid mounts. We've always had that problem with the IAG AOS kits. Pro Speed have a RHD plates for the previous models to mount it to the left shock tower, but the VB has all its electronics here now, so not sure what will happen there. Also with my strut tower in the bracket wouldnt work either. The Radium Catch cans also have issues with any aftermarket Intake Shrouds.

@@VBWRXY Yes, I know I have the PW Intake...I was the first VB to tune that intake in the USA at the end of Sept 2023 at Felix Performance/Dmann tune. The metal stock turbo inlet has a boost leak. @BETTALIFE1013 ай бұрын
@@VBWRXYin that case just keep it stock. Why void the warranty for such little gains. Subarus tuned it running rich for a reason. That’s already their safe side. Tuning just means overworking your motor, injectors and such. Improper upgrades blows motors my dude.
@VBWRXY3 ай бұрын
This is just the first step of many for tubing. It is running a Cobb OTS tune which they've done extensive testing on so as to not stress the motor, and is not an improper mod by any stretch. Having the Cobb AP will allow me to tune with custom etunes later on, to allow the use of better intakes, more efficient Intercoolers and exhaust setups. Additionally there are VBs out there pushing much more power than this with no issues. The known failure point currently is the transmission more than the engine.
