That's just factually inaccurate. I'm good at checking prices and this exact set would go between $60-$90 on eBay. Goodwill should NOT be competing with eBay. Sure it's "a little cheaper" than eBay but there is NO WAY Goodwill should be pricing that high for something like this.

And eBay has a money back guarantee and I can buy it sitting from my couch. Goodwill is not supposed to be a competitor to Amazon as far as I know.

No. I only use Facebook marketplace for things that just cost prohibitive to ship. This went eBay.

Sold within 24 hours. You have to remember, I have access to a GLOBAL audience. My walmart only has access to local consumers in my area. Most people in my area don't know how to use computers so the technology items don't sell very well. Setting clearance prices is a local decision -- not a corporate one.

I can list an item on ebay in under 5 minutes. I can ship one in under 5 minutes too. That's $6 in 10 minutes or $36 an hour. Time is money but that's worth it. Especially since I don't have to do anything to sell it.

​​@@SteveBaileyHQ okay so selling it for 6 dollars, and I'm assuming charging like a dollar for shipping seeing as an Sd card can fit in an envelope and you don't want to go over $8 bc 8 dollars is like the average price, going over would make it pretty hard to sell. So if Sold for 6, charging a dollar for shipping, the item cost you 3.37 before tax so let's call it 3.7 after tax. eBay is going to take 13% of the final sale fee, and an additional 30 cents for listing the item to begin with. We're looking at a little bit more than a dollar profit

Tore it down to the core... Gave it a good cleaning. Nothing wrong with it.

I made it very clear that dad had to be OK with the deal. Trust me, dad was fine with it and son was happy.

That's what I thought too but dad didn't put up a fight... And dad was the one who went inside to get it so I think he wound up being ok with it. Son won it at a raffle and it sat in a closet never used.
