What's the point of this lesson? You're not teaching the intro....? The strumming? People really have problems moving their hands up and down apparently.

The problem I've been struggling to deal with when holding the pick so loose is either having it rotate on me as I strum, or slowly pull out of my fingers. How do you stay loose but stop it from rotating or pulling out?

Nicely described and demonstrated. Do you target the root always or sometimes the 3rd and 5th?

Hey bro, great job explaining the theory behind the barre chords. I like to talk with you more, I understand music theory very well but I'm new to guitar. I'm also progressing very well, I don't know if you do online lessons.

I have difficulty getting clear notes using bar chords while finger picking. Strumming sounds ok. It seems that finger picking requires more hand strength.
@AvaRose009 ай бұрын
I agree. Use light gauge strings and make sure your action on your guitar is not extremely high. The g string is usually the hardest to fret using a bare chord. Electric guitar is easier to play…

It works if you just have you hand palm down, and just turn it up with a relaxed hand, then your thumb and index finger lands more or less "correctly". That is how I learned it, but making a fist works as well

I FOUND A SOLUTION THAT WORKED GREAT FOR ME I just want to share it might be helpful, i basically just actively try to maintain the finger that moves with the ring finger so i do hammer-on ( first two fingers on frets , i hammer on with the ring slowly and actively let the pinky where it was , and the same with ring and middle , and the exercice u did in 3:50 i just also actively let the middle touching lightly the B string , then stretch the fingers for 5 minutes it heeeelps a loooot
