These new shows are a fresh start, but Rick's story will in no way be complete without a Daryl reunion, one last squirly interaction with Carol, reconciling with Maggie, and coming to terms with Negan however that comes together. Final 360 moment should be Rick and Morgan sitting on the front porch at a house in Alexandria watching their grandchildren play. Their journey together started with family and should end with family.

Does he will stop in the same time of Norman Reedus in 6-7 years ?

I think it will be a flashback of Rick telling people of Alexandria what we didn't see at CRM and what was going on there.

This was from Palyfest 2017 for The Walking Dead (they do other shows so enter in TWD). They have the whole show or just that story, which was really funny. It wasn't meant to be serious.

There has to be more rick grimes because Morgan is still looking for him and would be very stupid to have that cliff hanger if they were never to meet. I think Morgan will find rick and there next adventure will be finding daryl. First thing that has to happen is the time frame has to catch up to the ones who live tho.

Part of what made The Walking Dead so great was that back in the day it was fair game for everyone who lived or died because of how big the cast was and how grounded the characters were. Now a days you have characters you don’t feel as much for unless they were around for years and you know they won’t die because AMC would go broke if they did and no one would watch the franchise ever again if someone like Daryl got bit for a stupid reason. Prime example is Carls death, viewership dropped so much after that moment. They need to be willing to take some risks with possibly killing off more characters or making them loose appendages or something. It’s been established yes that both the dead and the living can be threats in this world but we’ve seen these characters handle both of those. The only way to really go forward with the franchise is the variant walkers because they are essentially the dead but still very much living and won’t go down easy. Sure normal walkers and people can still be a threat but it’s not always going to be as intimidating to us the audience or hell even the characters we watch because they have been dealing with it for so long. The series as a whole just needs to be grounded again instead of trying to expand the universe so much. Sure it’s nice to go to France with Daryl and see how much France is in ruin but it would also be super nice to see Rick teaching Judith how to shoot or talking about Carl. Small moments like that really make a difference because it has heart and it makes you feel for the characters. You can world build and have massive communities like the CRM but they can’t be so black and white. There needs to be depth to those places and stories to make you feel for those places that are supposed to be massive and game changing to the whole universe. Had TWD World Beyond had Beale was a main character, I think his death and the CRM story as a whole in the ones who live would have been 10x better just for fleshing out characters more and their story and side of things told. A good example is the governors 2 episodes from season 4 where they gave 2 whole episodes devoted to that character and what we was doing. That being said the 6 episode format can’t be the future if we expect the franchise to survive. A 8 episode or hell 16 episode show about Beale and the CRM before the ones who live would have make the show so much grander. We just need grounded story’s and heart with the characters we are watching. It’s can be done if handled with care.

Again Andrew Lincoln told us here in New Jersey during filming at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, " It's only the beginning". I want a new series with Morgan appearing at Alexandria with Rick and Morgan kicking off things together like the original show. I have always said a new series past the comics is on the horizon going back to survival..... And I believe it will happen 👍👍👍 There are variant walkers here in the USA.....picking up from what we saw in season 11 of TWD with the variants here in Commonwealth. Rick doesn't need to go to France for variants....they are here. It's gonna be Rick and Morgan and we don't know what's going on in NYC with Dead City yet......I think Rick and Morgan will most likely hooking up with Negan. Daryl is off doing his own thing in France and eventually Spain..... I highly doubt Rick is taking off to never never land 😂🤣

Honestly still seeing people say Andrew is done with this series is mind-blowing. I don't know of a single time he said anything about being done. It's just a rumor that has been being spread. I spoke to Andy personally on-set of TOWL, and he told me he missed putting his boots back on and that he's just getting started.

The best analysis I've seen. I agree with being the best characters of actors Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira is also in relation to money. We have Scott Gimple and Danai with tons of ideas and Andrew as producer. I think we're going to see a lot of stories.

I can’t see Lincoln coming back. He’s good with PR stuff, talking up the story, etc, but I reckon he’s done being Rick. I’d be up for a set of mini-series in the same world. A few episodes featuring the prepper and ninja lass from Tales of the Walking Dead would be really good.
