Sad to hear, and, it just goes to show, that wisdom does not necessarily come with age. She should have known better, you expect this sort of thing from teeagers or young adults who are always pushing the limits. I grew up on a farm, and, you have to watch domestic cattle and horses, they are unpredictable. And, a wild animal is even more so.

They need to make it mandatory to read the warning, AND answer test questions to PROVE they fully understand not only the risk to themselves, but the risk to others by doing stupid things, AND if you violate park rules that affects animals, mandatory jail and and very hefty fine. That is assuming you survive the encounter

She was lucky, she could easily have been killed outright. I've been around bison all my life in the Black Hills, and tourists continue to ignore the warning signs and do stupid things. These animals are not domestic cattle, they are wild, they are dangerous, and they are unpredictable. It's a thrill to be able to see these majestic animals, but it's a potentially fatal mistake to decide that just because they're furry, they're also cuddly.

Sad that in her 83 years of life she didn’t learn to respect wild animals and how now likely caused an innocent creature to likely be destroyed due to her stupidity.

A woman that all you would think would have some sense. But if she lost her sense somebody there should’ve stopped her from doing what she did the ignorance of people nowadays it’s just disgusting.

Maybe some day we will become kind and intelligent human beings, and will protect the Bison by making foot traffic illegal, and only giving guided tram tours. Human beings are simply too brainless, as this woman was.
