tysm!! also after doing lots of research, my favorite method is: 1. making a paste with dawn dish soap, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide and scrubbing it into the stain (idk if this works on all fabric but i'm typically working with a light shade of cotton fabric/a cotton blend but if you have something delicate, potentially... research to be safe!) 2. letting it sit for 5-30 min depending on the severity 3. rinsing it by hand 4. repeating steps 1-3 if the stain is stubborn 5. as the stain lightens, throwing it in the wash with oxyclean powder and or oxyclean detergent it *usually* works very well! I buy pillowcases on eBay sometimes to embroider and they often come yellowed (ew) even when they say they're in perfect condition but this usually does the trick! highly rec this method and hope it works if you try it!! <3

Hi! I wanted to address this because I think this is an understandable and anticipated criticism that I’ve thought about a lot (now as a reseller and also previously); not everyone has the physical ability or time to go thrifting IRL, and very importantly I’d argue, over 80% of what is donated is thrown away immediately and ends up in a landfill even though lots of it is cute / usable. That being said, I think it *can be* questionable in some instances, and I would *personally* feel uncomfortable for marking something up to hundreds of dollars or taking all of a certain item available at a particular store, and I understand that there is some grey area. I don’t expect you to agree with me/reselling nonetheless, but I think curating is a valid service to those who may not be able to thrift themselves, and again, the vast majority of what is donated doesn’t make it to the floor because there is simply too much to go around! 💗

You should be targeting the rich, not a thrift store buyer selling sweaters for $20 that would otherwise go in a landfill or never be found by people who want them.

Who in the world is selling thrift store tank tops for $400. 😂 That's not the norm, far from it. I was a re-seller on eBay back in the 2000's & 2010's. I lived near a large city in a highly populated suburban area where thrift stores were literally overflowing with so many donations that some of them would only take a limited amount or only accept them 2 or 3 days a week. Me re-selling a $5 Chico's blouse for $20 to a busy mom who needed clothing on a budget for her corporate job wasn't taking anything away from anyone. It allowed me to pay for my utilities, food, and medicine while being unable to work due to chronic illnesses, and it provided that working mom with an affordable work wardrobe. She got an $89 blouse for $20, and I got to keep my lights on.
