I'm 7 years late to the party, but thank you so much for this guide. I play a lot of Action RPGs but mostly Monster Hunter/FromSoftware games where you very carefully trade blows with often just 1-4 enemies at once. This whole ~hold button to attack/dodge~ was so new to me and didn't click with me at all. I was trying to play the game like a typical action game which didn't really work out. Thanks to your guide I finally understood how this games wants me to play my character and I'm so glad I came across this video, as I probably would have dropped the game otherwise. Again, thank you!

I know this is Very late but I have found Multiple Fuel Access ports of Fuel depots before as in the little four room set up Ive encountered two on the right two rooms and it just bewildered me but yea there is a small chance it happens I suppose

2024, series still awesome

2023 and just starting this game. Been playing FF since X, all of them except 14, and always a few years behind. The combat on this one really had me scratching my head, but this is a very nice video. Thanks for this. Well done.

Why fear hitting your party with spells when there's an accessory that prevents party damage :P

Watching this makes me want to play ED again, but im getting a wheel and pedals and shifter tomorrow, and dont want to be sucked into ED right now, LOL! May not seem like a big problem, but when i played ED in the past, i would get all addicted to it, and play it all day every day for a few months, before getting bored with it and not playing it for a couple of years - at which point i would repeat and get stuck in it for several more months.

"If you're watching this before the 18th... " It is now 2023 and I got this game 2015. I was too scared to play it. I really loved the concept of moving robots around, but the things happening in the dark and the helplessness brought me off it real quick! I recently saw steam updating the game (yes, it is still installed, 8 years later) and wondered what it would look like, if someone braver than me played it. I find you, Restless Corpse, and you call it a horror game. And I find, that is EXACTLY what it is, and why I could not play it. Let's see... hitting play now.

Mann i miss this series

Anyone watching this for fast gameplay I don't think understands the core game mechanics. This rewards prepared, methodical and patient gameplay. I personally enjoy watching tactically moving through the ship and only taking risks when there is no other options.

I think you should have done the one with all of the stations first. Seems more useful and you'd be able to get all of the stuff done immeidiately.
