7:31 Means 'fish' (singular) im my native tongue. There are multiple nods to several Slavic languages there, a shame this game is not available on primary market here and very scarce second-hand.

Such a shame a game with that many nods to my native language and some neighboring ones is not available in my country... At least not on primary market.

One clarification for future plays: Henchmen are still classified as Villains ( They are “Henchmen Villains” ) so any card effects referring to Villains including the Escape penalty from the Mastermind apply to Henchmen.

Loved the play through but it seems like regular Legendary doesn’t scale well. Once you start hitting the mastermind, then the game seems to get a lot easier, as opposed to Legendary Encounters which seems to start of easy and gets more difficult the longer the game goes. Maybe I’m wrong? Love the videos and can’t wait to see more, good sir!

This is one that I want to get back to the table. I want to play it two players though, I think it'd work better than just playing solo like I was, even though you move as a group.

The stun token should be removed at the end of round, that is what it says in the glossary at least… 😅

That in turn reminds me of how much I stll need to clean up so I can access the table to be able to even play anything...

I just binged your whole core campaign playthrough - great stuff! Excited for the next one - I had hoped for Angmar because of my release order OCD, but I'll be there for Dreamchasers regardless. Looking forward to see how that plays out. This really is a great game, either solo or co-op.

Well I'm going to be "that guy" and say that at 44:15, Mendor was already Ready, so you couldn't draw a card (because of the Then condition). As you said at the start, there will be mistakes, and in a game with so many complex interactions it's inevitable. I wish the interactions were a bit more simple so it was easier to avoid errors, but it's not a competition so it doesn't really matter (though for me, I hate making mistakes as I feel as though I "cheated" a little if I win). Regardless, I am enjoying your playthrough two-handed and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the campaign unfold. Nice decks as well, the Eowyn quest-powerhouse is solid!

Once you experience the whole story, how replayable is this game?

You had lucky draws at first (come on, core set cards, but you got Citadel Plate, Steward of Gondor, Galadrim's Greeting, Celebrian's Stone, Banks of the Anduin, AND a Forest Snare, all before the end of round 3? Why can't I draw like that?), so the second Hill Troll was karma - no complaining!

22:07 Well, influencing can be any number of things. Threatening it is influencing it. I know trying to seduce this thing would be funny, as would trying to befriend it given the image on the card. You could also think of bribing it to ignore you as influencing. Anything that shifts it's current intent is infuencing. Influence is a wide spectrum term. Combat is straight up just trying to kill it. Sneak is outright avoiding it's notice. From a role playing perspective, and maybe taking it out of typical context, the Rat Thing has spotted you, and begins talking non-stop about all it's woes, the weather, and everything else preventig you from moving directly on. You could kill it on the spot, try sneaking away as it is so invovled in it's recollection it forgets you exist, or use influence you counter it's chatter with yours, dumbfounding it so it is lost for words and confused, or perhaps it simplely finds your non-stop chatter obnoxious and leaves. You might tell it off for annoying you, or give it something to just shut it up. I'm sure you could get further creative than myself.

Seems like you got it sorted, but I believe any time the portal was damaged, you're adding the '-1' tokens technically. They just cancel out an equal amount of the added '+1" tokens. It makes this Outsider really nasty and tense! Makes any healing on the Castle you can get so important, it's quite a fun little race to get big enough swings out there, while constantly being flooded by roots.

Battle Mode is supposed to come to the app in about a month. They decided to make it even more involved than they intentionally envisioned, with more replayability and depth. Which is exciting, but sadly delayed its implementation in the app. I'm also glad that they're going to soon offer an .EXE of the app for use in Windows and on laptops Surfaces (something more publishers should try to do, looking at you Restoration games). edit- If it's not clear, this has quietly become my most awaited game of the year. It just looks gorgeous, and the Vengeance combat system is one of my favorites. I'm eagerly awaiting my pledge to arrive sometime this week!
