Thanks for talking about this, bradddah Andy. We dont want to hurt anyone just because they are different from us. But if they keep to themselves, thats one thing. If they force their ways on us, the majority, thats different.

Great Fred Hemmings anecdote. Good reminder about difference in politics getting along. Getting out of the impact zone? No rip there? Turtle that long board and keep going.

Andy is joined by Miles aka Medium7Up. Miles gives some insight into comparisons of Hawaii to Boston and his recent travel to the Islands. All listeners can gather some insight through the news clips chosen by Andy. Remember the influx of coconut rhino beetles? Well, watch out for the coconuts that come from trees that have been filled with insecticide. Two surf stories John Flores will be competing in the Olympics, having overcome his injuries. And another waterman warns about running into his escort boat. Andy adds info about surfing and Keone Nunes explains in the chat about the Tahiti spot used for Olympic surfing. Housing issues are discussed in a bill to help Maui use short term rentals to long term ones. Also on Waianae they will help homeless kupuna (get Andy's take on the area.)

Very good, like it!! I'm going to try it even. We have the same problem in Ireland. actually it just got even worse, because instead of the 5% ethanol it's now 10%. I have heard a lot of people complaining about the s+*t petrol, where they have left lawnmowers, chainsaws or whatever else over winter and come summer they will not start. People simply take it outside and tip it upside down in to the hedge or where ever, Ive done the same. I mean who the hell though this was a good idea to begin with? I would imagine this process would work with diesel also? That s*"t they put in it would rots through any rubber it comes in to contact with, including seals.

Hey brah, when I travel on mission trips the local people of the country will attempt to speak to me in their version of broken English. I thank them because I can't speak their native language, but I understand their broken English. They apologize; I tell them that they don't need to apologize. I'm a Portagee transplant from California that played football at U.H. and coached at Palama Settlement, 1969 and 1975 with John Sharp. Aloha

Lively interview with an old school character. His observations about his father were hilarious.

You have loco moco , I love it myself,,, but I make a moco loco. It’s dirty rice, with a slice of grilled pineapple on it, a hamburger patty with extra love like onions and spices, a brown gravy that’s on the stove for three hours, a perfect fried egg, then peppers sautéed in honey on top of that….. you talking broke the mouth.
