I noticed that this fight gets a lot of hate. I'm not quite sure why that is, my best guess is that people try soloing it and get ganked. Because this one is actually a lot of fun, especially when you bring everyone like OP did!

Jolan and anna summons are actually complete garbage. At +10 they couldn’t even beat the bloodhound knight in latenna’s dungeon. They get melted so easily. I’m on ng+7

@@amberhernandez mimic still does good, tiche is still good despite being extremely squishy as well, dung eater is still viable even at ng+ 7. and ng+7 is not a challenge in early game so the aummons should be able to do something against those enemies. Jolan and anna just perform terribly, only thing going for them is the bleed but even that is lackluster.

You can summon up to two cooperators, but you'll be locked out of NPC and spirit summons. They patched out instances where more than two cooperators could be present, and you can't summon spirits with the Furlcalling Finger Remedy active (which is how you summon other players).

@zerumsiru5204 Indeed, however the fight is more tough with more players, and you can't use spirit ashes so sadly no absolute army moment.

Now I imagine this with the multiple kinds of soldier ashes. I wish we could fuse them all into the Army of the Lands Between and have a unique soldier from every faction fighting as one giant group (Haligtree Footsoldier, Lleyndell Spear Soldier, Rick, Warhammer Radahn Soldier, and Sword Raya Soldier is what I envision)

@@MamaTrixxieAsmr Nah, they’re already kinda cracked in my opinion. However it would have been a cool idea to have the Mausoleums be able to merge Spirit Ashes ngl, like pairing a legendary Spirit Ash (i.e. Lhutel or Finlay) with their respective army ashes (Mausoleum Knights or Haligtree Knights). For me, the main reason I never use ashes is because I usually only get like 1 strong guy or 3 weak guys, which I can get simply by summoning my friend, so having platoons of soldiers like that would make it far more appealing.

what I wish was there was an option to queue with a bunch of others, and all parties involved were summoned in at once. A five v five fight between the five loyalists to miquella, and five tarnished of no renown.

Progress his quest until he seems to be your enemy (exhaust all his dialogue after he goes to St. Trina) might have to rest a few times. But you should pass St. Trina's words to him. His summon sign should appear next to Ansbach's

It’d be cool but eh, he doesn’t have anything to do with Miquella or Messmer. It’d be cooler to have an NPC who’s completely adrift from the main point of the story but a side story like dragons, just to make the shadow realm more alive. Your dialogue were really great however, have a great day!

@@Elden-Bear if he survived Bayle onslaught he will surely become a Drake knight or even better.... A Dragonkin (the name, ancient dragon man was really lame lol I think Dragonkin is 10 times better) If that happened he would owe us our help. A man of honor he was he will surely help us.

The banned knight oleg, engvall and the batlemage Huges are monsters there, seeing Leda's group take Huges' haima hammer and fun besides the combos of oleg and engvall and lhutel and kristoff are excellent.

@seraphim4501 Too easy? Oof, you tell that to me. Or the hosts I try to help in the DLC. Summoning truly messes up the shadow sunflower fight. When I fought it solo the first time, it was pretty easy. Just hit the head of the flower, and you have yourself maybe a minute or two long fight for all three phases tops, if you get lucky with the boss not doing too many attacks that are harmful for trying to land hits. But everytime I get summoned, the same attacks that would let me chunk parts off the health bar were suddenly just little nibbles now. Part of it is hosts somehow not getting the blessings they should have. Because summons are granted the same blessing level of the host, you not only have a much more bloated HP bar, but you also do so much less damage. I cannot tell you the amount of times I almost have a boss dead, and here comes the host determined to get the final hit and dude dies in one hit. Base game, summoning absolutely makes many fights easier. DLC though? I honestly am convinced it is more trouble than it is worth. I have better success rates as a solo summon than with an additional summon. Because man that HP scaling must be jacked up for the DLC. I would absolutely say it is easier to do it solo because you have a much smaller HP pool to go through. Best example is having done both the golden hippo and the final boss twice, once using both NPCs and then again just plain solo. Same build, both were post NG7+, and solo is absolutely the way to go. Much less HP to go through.

@@seraphim4501 different strokes for different boats. Summoning completely destroy the boss AI and make them agro unpredictably. Solo Mesmer isn’t the same as a Mesmer that will switch targets mid combo
