I use the ten-finger grip but I don't rest my left thumb on top of the shaft. I extend it outwards so it "floats" under my right hand, such that the corner of my right palm rests on the base of my left thumb.

Originally my problem with chipping was Not gripping down on the club. Now I make sure to always grip down on the club when chipping thanks to a GARY PLAYER video.

@@jasonyoungs6763 it’s the wedge meant to fill the distance gap between the sand wedge and pitching wedge, it has more loft then the sand wedge, maybe like 52 degrees.

I do the same thing up to 25 paces, 2 step increments for which i have it written down....1 pace up to 12, then 15-24 in 3 pace increments...I love it

There are pros that use this technique, dude. It's just like stock yardages on the rest of your clubs. If it's an downhill put, you shorten your stroke. It's almost like playing golf lol

@@TenetNosceit is. It’s great to have a baseline and work from there. Obviously not every put is going to be perfectly level but you can adjust accordingly on the course.

Unless you swing your club 110 + . Stronger grip helps me on anything that’s not my irons . I tend to have a stronger grip for driver and hybrids. I tend to swing club really fast though
