Great video. Replacing bungee's on our '57 Tripe tomorrow. Using the same tool so this helps. Thanks! Did you coat the bungee's with beewax to help the second bungee slide on? Maybe that wasn't needed with the Bungee Buddy tool.

Thanks for your video. I was able to borrow a Bungee Buddy and was able to get instructions from this video on how to use the tool. Got new bungees on the Pacer now. The tool is awesome. I was able to clamp it into a vise which helps if doing it by yourself.

2 things he didn't show. #1 on this tool there is a bracket that mounts it in a Vice holes are there but not the Bracket #2. Before removing old bungees the piece on the bottom will move use a felt tip and put a scribe line between bracket and shock. When you install new Bungees make sure that line stays lined up. You will be glad you did when it comes time to install it back in the plane. Experience speaking :)
