why do you divide by 10 and not 2 for example?

One question: why do you use one digit or two in the example, if the two scales in the instruments doesn't have that digit. In metrology, it is common to work with the correct digit that the instruments allow it. (4+- 1) cm or (4.3 +- 0.1) cm in this case I have a good interval, as well, with the correct significat digits. ? thanks a lot.

Hi Rebeca, That was a fantastic video about this subject. You put this in easy to understand terms and language, i read two textbooks on this and watched a few videos but yours got it through to me. I don't know if some people are afraid that if they put these concepts in easy to understand terms people will find out that's it not that hard to understand and there goes their superiority they hold so dear and look down at others over.
