On vivais un grand rêve. On avait une équipe national, une grande. Et on rêvait d'un pays, un grand. On a perdu les Nordiques, mais on peut encore se voter un pays, un vrais, vivant, et grand. Mais il faut voter du bon bord en Novembre prochain..❤

Le règlement des passes des 2 lignes n'auraient jamais du exister, surtout avec les petites patinoires de la LNH , avec la proximité de la ligne bleue et la ligne rouge ainsi que la grosseur des joueurs. Merci pour le partage.

Was that scoreboard retroactively added to the footage or is it actually part of the tv broadcast? I thought those only came around in the late 90’s

Retroactively. The original feed was by the CBC.

On voit que les gens avaient plus de classe dans ce temps là, en applaudissant les Canadiens, qui étaient encore en plus d'être l'équipe de Montréal celle du peuple Québécois, avant que la rivalité débute. On peut entendre des gens scander «Guy, Guy» lors de l'entrée du CH.

Pas un match qui me réconcilie avec Jacques Lemaire l'entraîneur: seulement 5 défenseurs en uniforme, Chelios qui réchauffe le banc, Bobby Smith qui joue avec Serge Boisvert et Mark Hunter, le premier trio(Mondou, Naslund et Tremblay) qui est sous utilisé. Je comprends Guy Lafleur d'avoir sacré son camp. 1982: les nordiques éliminent le CH en prolongation: trio de Hunter-Cloutier-Goulet contre celui de Jarvis-Hunter-Gainey. 1985: même scénario: les nordiques éliminent le CH en prolongation: le trio de P. Stastny-A. Stastny-Côté contre celui de Carbonneau-Nilan-Gainey. Les deux fois au Forum où le CH avait le dernier mot sur les changements de trio. Comme quoi utiliser ses meilleurs joueurs, ça paie.

I am a Cubs fan, Monday was my first favorite player since 74. Rooted for L.A. as a second team because of Rick Monday. I mysteriously was "sick" and home from school, just so I could watch the game. I just turned 17. Still in the top 3 all time favorite baseball memories. I have learned over the years how painful that loss was for the Expos. They were a great team. Love these old broadcasts . Ty to who ever put this up!

Socík dobrý nebol ale súčasnosť a budúcnosť bude ešte lepšia, no dnes sa to účinkujúcim v dokumente páči, lebo sú za vodou alebo pri moci. Takže taká je pravda o demokracii, totalite, neslobode a spravodlivosti. Jediný argument bol, že kapitalizmus je najlepšie ľudské zriadenie a lepší než socík, no ani to už nie je pravda, ak máš oči troška otvorené.

The NHL playoff experience, still say that the 90's was the Twilight Era of the game. It feels SO fresh and authentic unlike today's crap etc. It never gets boring either.

I was born and raised in Montreal and I still live there. The Expos were a huge part of my life growing up. Watching the Expos in the Summer of ‘94 was one of the best periods of my life. Honestly, the Strike and the subsequent fire sale of most my beloved Expos stars broke my heart. For us ‘94 was baseball heaven and baseball hell at the same time. I look back now and I think about all of the Expos games I went to over the years with my grandfather, games I went to with big groups of friends and I simply smile. I focus on the great Expos memories I have from across the years, such as El Presidente’s perfect game, Pedro’s “almost perfect” game in San Diego, seeing Grissom steal home at the Big O, seeing Otis Nixon and Tim Raines steal bases with ease, Larry Walker throwing runners out at first from right field (he did it multiple times - I saw him grab a ball bare-handed that bounced off the RF wall and rifle a throw to nail a runner at first, and that particular highlight is nowhere on KZfaq), seeing Tony Gwynn get his 3000th hit, and the list goes on and on… We were lucky to experience it and I hope they return one day.

It would be nice if MLB tried putting a team there but first you have to get a new stadium and then which team will move or will they expand and they are thinking more state side right now than Canada
