I’m in the pest control industry, this would be awesome for mosquito control. And doing large property’s for flea and ticks

We're currently in discussion with someone who works in mosquito control. He said, "We have been using our T40 daily. It has helped us so much in our work. It makes things much more efficient in how we operate. We can treat so much more in a much shorter time frame."

Remember, your not using gas to power a mobile spray vehicle with a contractor driving it - so you saving absolutely massive costs with is drone .

I'm up to 16:48 and i understand how bigger and more open fields would be more efficient but i feel like that really falls off if your refilling/cycle station is stationary. As the drone gets further away it spends more time/battery (time fully loaded) between it's restart point. I'm guessing there's way to minimize this with the pattern. Or moving to a new start/cycle point.. and it would auto adapt via new GPS location? Maybe you cover this in the next 8 mins.
@MindCrime5506 күн бұрын
maybe all of that doesn't matter much as the major bottle neck is load capacity. Maybe seeds are less of a bottlenecking load?

Small refinements to the trailer each time is good, gets better every time. Looking forward to each new iteration. An "evolution" video of the changes from the first to the current and possible future changes would be very cool and a video legacy log....a sheet of plexi between the operators and the craft, mounted to the railing, would help out on flying debris like broken props and parts.

We use 2 chargers and 6 batteries. We sometimes will have to wait a few minutes if its a hot day or if we are doing high gpm work. We are planning to get a second drone with another charger and 3 more batteries to swarm them on ant bait, pecan zinc applications, or mosquito spray jobs and the like.

Sitting here thinking I came up with a crazy way to use this drone. Firefighting. It would need a weird setup, but could potentially only need the winch. What I'm thinking is a bag attached to the drone's frame, hanging maybe 10 feet down or what ever would be a safe distance. The winch would go down the center of the bag and is basically attached to the bottom of the bag. Then you fill the bag with water or some sort of fire retardant and fly to your destination. When you've reached your goal you retract the winch. This pulls the bottom of the bag and inverts it, forcing the contents out as it does. It may not hold much, but if you combine it was drones using thermal cameras, it's cheaper then helicopters or planes probably and maybe can be utilized much more quickly. It's a quick and dirty plan, but with some engineering skills and knowhow it could probably become extremely viable in dangerous areas that are hard to reach or during situations that might be hazardous for pilots to fly manned aircraft.

Nah. Just take the sprayer system, remove the pumps off the back of the tank and replace them with a solenoid dumb valve. Possibly with some type of funnel or chute to direct the flow.
@nopenope520312 күн бұрын
Having just watched the whole video I wish you had spent a moment or two giving a closer look at the claw portion of the winch. It seems like the claw is open normally but stays closed when put under tension? I'm only guessing though from the context clues of things you did during the video. You probably can't drop a load midair, right? You have to remove the weight from the claw for the claw to open.

You know, ever since drones became a thing when I was a kid, I always thought it would be so cool to be able to pick stuff up and move it remotely with a magical claw that could grab something and let go of it without me manually doing so. Here we are now, with my childhood dream almost fully realized.

So you mentioned no pressure washer, and that is obvious, but you mention using a hose and spraying with that. Are you able to use a pressure washer with a chemical tip? That's the tip with the largest opening and lowest pressure output for a pressure washer. It's basically a really big fan tip. I'm thinking as long as you don't try to jam the tip right up against the drone and try to force the water in nooks and crannies you can just use the chemical spray tip to wet the drone and cleanse soap off of it. Definitely not using it to try to remove and grime or caked on dirt, as that sounds like something that would require to much water pressure. Hand wash only, lol.

*Setting Up the T40* * *Field Mapping: (**0:34** - **2:00**)* The T40 remote allows for field mapping directly in the field or importing pre-mapped fields. Start points, spray lines, flight direction, and entry points can be easily edited. * *Application Settings: (**1:52** - **2:56**)* Preset templates (e.g., fungicide) adjust application rate, flight speed, route spacing, and height above the canopy. The drone automatically determines the flow rate based on speed, spacing, and desired gallons per acre. * *Droplet Size: (**2:40** - **2:53**)* Rotary nozzles allow for changing droplet sizes directly from the remote. * *Physical Setup: (**3:07** - **4:33**)* The T40 is transported with folded arms secured by a ratchet strap. Arms are easily unfolded and locked into place using a cam lock design. *Operation* * *Battery Management: (**9:36** - **10:29**)* The demonstration used three batteries, a T30 charger, a cooling kit, and a generator. * *Flight: (**6:46** - **7:32**)* The T40 flies autonomously to the start point, lowers to the preset height, and begins spraying. It automatically returns to the home point when the tank runs low or at the end of the mission. * *Prop Wash Vortex: (**7:37** - **8:32**)* The drone utilizes a dual rotor system, rotating clockwise and counterclockwise to create a powerful vortex for optimal product distribution. * *Refilling and Battery Swap: (**11:38** - **13:35**)* The video demonstrates how to quickly refill the tank and swap batteries to minimize downtime. * *Efficiency: (**14:39** - **16:40**)* Cycle times determine overall efficiency. The demonstration showed a cycle time of around 6 minutes for 4 acres, suggesting a potential of 40 acres per hour. *Safety Features* * *Manual Override: (**19:47** - **22:02**)* Operators can manually override the drone's flight path, spraying, and return-to-home functions for increased safety and flexibility in navigating obstacles. * *Obstacle Avoidance: (**17:20** - **17:37**, **23:04** - **23:36**)* The T40 boasts a robust radar system and binocular vision which automatically detect and avoid obstacles, enhancing safety during autonomous operation. * *Signal Strength: (**22:56** - **23:04**)* The demonstration highlights the strong signal range of the remote, ensuring reliable control even at distances up to half a mile. *Additional Notes* * *Chemical Mixing: (**14:19** - **14:22**)* The video emphasizes the importance of a well-designed trailer setup for transport and chemical mixing to ensure proper product agitation and suspension, especially at higher concentrations used with drone spraying. * *Automatic Mixing Station: (**8:55** - **9:10**)* The video briefly mentions a forthcoming automatic chemical mixing station. * *Radar System: (**16:42** - **17:14**)* The T40 incorporates a forward-facing radar and camera system and turns around at the end of the field to optimize obstacle detection. i used gemini 1.5 pro

So when someone says they charge $15/A to spray, that can't include the cost of Veltyma. 250 acres a day is $6,500 in fungicide alone at this rate. So at this rate, are you charging closer to $41/A?
if this was made in USA China would be working day and night on counterfeit GJI
