Whose your driver? And is he 6 or 7" tall? That's some pretty steep hillclimbs. I bought a black one for my birthday. It'll be here in a week. I noticed you're still running the stock tires? They must be performing OK. I was hoping not to have to buy tires right away. Love your vids! Was it a 2200 3s lipo you ended up using? Thanks, and I'll be looking for more content!

Glad you like my videos, and I think you made a good purchase. The rider is Wild Willy from Tamiya, I kept the original tires which work well. I am using a 3300mAh LiPo which I placed in the front transverse position.

Haha! Yep! Two things, the first is the excessive weight of the original NiMh battery which is placed at the back and which I will replace with a LiPo as soon as I receive my XT 60. (180 gr vs 280 gr). The second, and the video shows it badly, is the slope which is not far from 60 degrees... But this little machine is amazing. Since the video I modified some things, I reduced ,among others, the ground clearance (-10mm), rebuild the rear cross member and the front bumper (thinner) fore more scale look. @@selligsgarage3262 Good ideas. I suppose there's no room to mount the battery across the frame rails behind the motor as it'll foul the scale interior. Removing the spare wheel and tyre and replacing with just a foam circle and cover would help

@@heady2008 In reality there's enough room for the battery in front of the driver, but first I will try with my Lipo. On the other hand, replacing the spare wheel by a foam disc is a very good idea.
