Can it run in 100 V/50 Hz? Because US standard is 120 V/60 Hz. So, the V/Hz would be have same ratio. Actually frequency difference doesn't really matter for a motor, but V/Hz ratio matters more. But you run it at 110 V instead of 100 V, it will hum more.

Also use 220V inverter and plug US hairclipper with step down transformer and it could make loud noise.

Getting it up looked pretty easy .. but if you don't mind me asking how was the disassembling part.. was it easy to pack up and get back in the bag.. only reason I ask is because I was considering buying a new tent to take the family camping but it looks like it would be a pain to re pack

Am wondering If I would do this but at the same time I think the only safe issue is that failure on the relays can make C (Common) to connect both on NO and on NC. This kind of failure will allow utility to be connected to Inverter. If there is phase synchronization between inverter and Grid, fine if not, this is dangerous.

The switch would, somehow, have to be touching both contacts. I can’t see how that could happen very easily. Maybe if the relay got so hot that it melted or water gets into the relay.

Thank you…..No, I don’t have a video that I can find. Use an orbital sander. Start 1000,1200,1500,2000. I think I might have buffed it with a compound.

I don’t know why yours failed. Crazy glue and baking soda is very tough. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol. Make the area ruff, with sand paper. Try using more baking soda and crazy glue.

in Jamaica the government is just idiotic. In world, 2 types of current are used: 110V / 60HZ (USA) == 230V / 50HZ (UE) Why jamaica use 50HZ with 110V? 230V/60HZ and 110V/50HZ are little used in world. I write from Italy, 230V/50HZ. Nice video, thanks for uploading! (Sorry for my bad english)

East Japan and Barbados uses 100 - 115V 50Hz. Parts of Dutch Caribbean Islands uses 127V 50Hz. South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Antugua Barbuda, Guyana and Peru uses 220 - 240V at 60Hz

Didn’t know some of it’s Cruise ships like Royal Caribbean, they used 230V at 60Hz on Euro Schuko outlets. US outlets on 115V at 60Hz. Light bulbs, refridgerators and some coffee makers are mostly 230V. TVs, hairdryers are 115v.

I was looking for a tent to have a black light party, games and activities for the kids on our family reunion camping trips. This would also be great for the same purpose in the backyard too and on Halloween. I plan to waterproof it with spray on silicone and seal the seams. But if we get more than a moderate rainfall, we will be taking this tent down 🌬⛈. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Check to see if the motor wires are pinched in-between the chassis

Another fix you may try for the original motor, like I did for mine, is to reflow the solder for connection of the diode across the terminal to the motor, then once that connection is reestablished, the motor works again.

Thank you for your comment. We went camping for the first time with some other tents that weren’t easy to setup or pull down. After that experience, I bought the Ozarks. When I go camping again I’ll do a video.

The Holy Stone HS-550 which is the Bugs 4w seems to be a way tougher drone. beefy arms. I love it. But the camera on that one is suppose to be better.... I did see a guy strap a run cam 5 to the bottom of one and worked well.... Good job on getting 3 drones out of the deal though sounds like a fun project but stinks it happened... Do you have a video of the fixed ones flying? Thank you!

If I was any good at these videos, I’d have included a flight test. Maybe one day I’ll pull them out of storage and do some videos. I quickly moved on to DJI because of the gimble but there are some things about these cheap drones that are actually better than DJI.

P.G. Whitaker fills voids and gives it a hard bond. You can use it as filler if you missing plastic as well. Hard as a rock.

Deronne Wilson , just find out how much the appliance pulls and get the right size inverter and AC-DC converter. If it’s a fridge I’d just leave it. The one in the background is American fridge and I still have it with no problems. Just get a good surge protector that times out for a minute or two when there’s a power cut.

I built a system for my barber, Bilal in CPJ plaza. We are beyond this now. Buy a rechargeable clipper. Magic clip cordless by wahl is the standard.

andrew ali , most fridges work on both cycles these days. You won’t have an issue. Just get a good surge protector that keeps power from the fridge for at least a minute after power interruption stops.

I broke the right rear on mine. I used super glue but it didn't hold long, I'm going to remove the arm and use plastifix

Wingster Rod you have to use the super glue with baking soda. Super glue won’t hold it alone
