Two questions: 1) how many placements did machine do on that board? 2) any data on placement location accuracy and repeatability?

1- Number of components is about 150. Actual speed is 1400-1600cph. 2- Repeatability accuracy +-0.02mm

It's very slow, so I think we can only work on samples, but using Yamaha feeder increases the cost. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNxlpMed18rXg6M.html => At least this speed should come out. The speed is also set at 80 percent. It's faster than yours even though it's not at the top speed.

Our machine is running on OpenPnP software, it has many things that are not optimized to achieve high speed. Unlike machines made by Chinese manufacturers

@@AFARCO-PnP In the end, there are technical limitations no matter how well the hardware is made due to the absence of software. If so, I think it is necessary to make the machine smaller and simpler. It would be better if you reduce the cost by reducing the feeder base to one and pay attention to precision focusing on heterogeneous chips that do not have a problem with speed rather than small chips. I also use some mini PNPs and the high speed one is made in China with 4 heads. This is when taking a chip at high speed and the other machine is for release only, I need this good combination because this is not a speed issue and precision comes first. Additionally the question is, does the camera calibrate both angles and coordinates when picking up the chip? Or only the angle is calibrated?

What is really missing as a buyer is a video where you show the workflow of the machine. Loading Pick and Place Data, Registering feeders, assigning Parts, etc. It would be interesting to see a complete workflow for a small board from configuration to assembled PCB.

Are you confused? The X axis uses 2 Hiwin MGN12 linear rails

@@AFARCO-PnP exactly! and do you know why those hiwin mgn12 have holes along whole length not only at the ends? because they were not designed to self support. they need to be not even screwed, but precisely torqued to specs on flat support to retain accuracy. these ones unsupported must bend, flex and twist easily within 1/10 of a mm on high load and chew itself up in a year... while properly installed and maintained linear rail can deviate from ideal about a micron and easily outlive single person...
