Number is so true though and its not a good thing because every time someone finds out k ride horse they come snd tell me the same story there is 2 people in my grade that have the lying problem they have the same story(story: they always day that they go to a ranch and the “professionals” so they get put in the crazy horses and the same thing happens every time the horse there on rears up and they pull on the reins so hard😒 and they magically stay on and they keep repeating it because they think im dumb.)(different story: this one girl in my class 😶 she said she deos a sport called loping 🤨😑 which lets be real people isn’t a sport and it is BOT THE SAME AS A CANTER THERE DIFFERENT. She says she really good but guess what she doesn’t know if she rides english or western😑😑😑🫣 i would be embarrassed she should know what the type or riding she does aka im guessing western if she knows how to lope what are ur thoughts

At first when looking at this video I was like “oh, I didn’t know there was a difference. I wonder what it is.” I tried to hard to look for a difference and I just caught it when you circled both saddles 😂 good one!

thank you so much for this. wondering if this works with every horse? would it depend on their training? had a horrible trail ride yesterday. trail guide seemed to be blaming me-the whole "the horse feeds off your energy..." thing. i understand this principle, but a horse with a habit of doing this shouldn't be on the trail with someone who doesn't know how to deal with this issue. i kept hearing "PULL HER HEAD UP!" really sore right now. going to try this technique. thanks again.

I figured that but well it was good to see it put so plainly with evidence like this, I think the quarter horse canter is a little more collected than some other breeds or at least appears to be here

Your a life saver, have no idea if it's the best one for my purpose, but it worked & got my German Shepherd home after she ran after a squirrel & snapped a 3/4 inch leather lead, luckily it snapped just by a metal ring, so I tied your Texas T & got her home & safe, Thank You Sir. 😊

i had a horse that rode so uncomfortably it felt like it was running sideways or was lame. i think one of these is what he was doing. i was told that hes just "gaited" and naturally runs weird. is there any way to fix this

Marking the legs was a brilliant idea. I'm a working student who just came across cross firing with my horse, and my trainer/mentor referred me to these videos. You're a great resource for those looking to assist their equine partners. Thanks!

Hello! Thank you for sharing this video! Really interesting! I do have this question: if you block the inside rein, at walk lets say, you cant follow the horse motion, therefore he will be disturbed. How do you suggest to fix this while doing this exercise? Thank you!!
