Your music is just so genuine that I can't help but be enthralled by it. You play with a conviction of someone who truly enjoys and wants to share the love of music, it doesn't matter if its maybe a little off key or what have you because to the people who really play it and want to share that doesn't matter. so thank you for sharing with us all.

I love the steel drum! I taught music around the world camp this summer for 4-6 year olds and we made “steel drums” out of pie plates and poster board. It was LOUD, but boy did we have fun. 😂

I really enjoyed this. It's amazing how just the simplest of things can be turned into something to make music. Music must be inbuilt into humans. The desire to make music must have been with us since the beginning of us. I really enjoyed this. You go to the Caribbean and bring back a drum.....why am I not surprised. 😅 I would be bringing back fabric. 😆

I only found out about the Ukelin a few weeks ago, and apparently it was ridiculously hard to play, which makes your double bow style that much more impressive! The original bow reminds me of a hacksaw haha
@deedeetibbits
@deedeetibbits 6 күн бұрын
Actually…the Ukelin was made to be an easier version of violin/Uke playing. The strings are all numbered, and the music says which number to play with which number. I could have you playing a simple tune quite quickly! However….I DO try to make it more challenging for myself for that very reason. My ‘hacksaw’ bow was made by a dear friend because the one that came in the original box was not usable.

@@deedeetibbits Thanks! I forget where I originally saw this, but I remember hearing that about 60% of them were returned before they finished paying them off because they were awkward to learn/play and the company went under, hence the reason very few people know about them today. I think you're just musically gifted :)

@@Brando56894 I think you’re correct in saying that many gave up on them…but that’s why so many are in perfect condition After being in an attic for many years.
