Number 4 (Do you want to a snow man) is so underrated, the harmony meshes really well especially the 2nd chord, it sounds heavenly in my opinion, like the ending of a movie or something very world wide.

Another neat characteristic of the Disney ships is their "twinkle". At night, when leaving port, or in the morning, when arriving, there are strobes all over the superstructure that flash and make the ship appear to be twinkling. Pretty cool.

We cruise often and have never been asked to take it down. I would just check your cruise contract to make sure it’s not on the list of prohibited items for the ship you’ll be sailing on.

you realize the more you share this information and more people start using it there will be less cabins available for you. There are a limited number of cabins available to the casino program on each ship. I received an offer and attempted to book it later that day and it was already booked out. No more casino cabins available.

So we watched your video after we bought our over water cabana, and had some major concerns related to the info you shared…and I wanted to share some of my own: - we had cabana #2, and we never had water more shallow than 5-6’, most of the day it was 7+ feet deep. ALL day, from 9a until we left. - there was 3 sting rays, a number of small fish and some jelly’s, but the we never saw one shark or any kind, no barracuda, and the jelly’s were all resting on the sand floor. - the general access beach had a rope line next to cabana 1 that prevents anyone from swimming or walking past toward the cabanas, and the life guards enforce it all day (maybe a new feature?)…no one crossed over and that area was packed full. …many of the other points you made were valid, but I wanted to clarify those few, as they were NOT issues when we just visited on May 30th. They’ve done a lot to isolate the cabanas from everyone, including the people at the private coco beach club beach area.

I will never ride these again. The road has roots coming up, deep holes, dust everywhere. You will probably have back problems in the end

Thanks for your feedback! This video was about 2 years ago so I’m sure it’s had quite a bit of wear and tear. I do find most of the ATV tours aren’t too great on the back and neck.

We recently cruised almost back to back on celebrity and royal caribbean; the overwater cabanas were selling for $1200 on royal and $3700 on celebrity. We hadnt been to cococay since the major upgrade and re-branding and were thinking of trying out a floating cabana on the royal cruise, but after watching this and other youtube videos decided not to. On our celebrity day to cococay we took the free day approach and had a fabulous time! We parked ourselves at chill island where there were plenty of loungers even though we didnt get off the ship until 1130 and allure of the seas was also in port that day. There was a bar nearby as well as one of the free food stations. We were impressed by the food as it was much improved over our last visit to cococay. Even though we ate lunch late (2pm), the food was plentiful, fresh, delicious, and the serving stations were clean. The water at the beach was great! On our Royal visit to cococay, we booked the coco beach club. It was OK, but i doubt we'll do it again. While the lunch food was a little better, the service was VERY slow and our table was VERY hot. I dont care for lobster, so i tried the filet and it was excellent, but given the heat of the day, i just dont think i fully appreciated it. It was such heavy food. My husband had the lobster, which he enjoyed, but it was not great lobster (overcooked and barely warm when it arrived). Loved the appetizers. Dessert was nothing special. The loungers were exactly the same as the free loungers at chill island just a different color, so that was disappointing. I thought they might be padded for extra comfort. They were more spaced out than at chill island and there were lovely attendants who brought drinks to the beach chairs. But the beach itself was terrible! It was full of sea grass, shallow, muddy, with no waves at all. Lots of people on our day were getting burning rashes in the water (we did not), so by the afternoon everyone, including my husband and i, were in the hot pool. We had a good time, but just not good enough to warrant the $290 it cost us. And, you're absolutely right about cabanas. If we had been assigned cabana 1 or 20, i would have been really upset. They were in such shallow water and with no privacy. Im SO glad we did not book one as we were not suite guests and im guessing we would have been assigned one of the least favorable locations.

Do you as a couple get any alone time while Nick is onboard?
@SiegleMediaАй бұрын
We don’t leave Nick with anyone except family. When Nick is on a cruise with us he’s either with us or his siblings. We cruise a lot so when the kids are with us we are there to spend time with them. There’s a program called “autism of the seas” and it’s a great program to look into. We haven’t personally used it though. ;)
@ISing4Jesus6353Ай бұрын
@@SiegleMedia yes I’ve looked into Autism on the Seas. Unfortunately, there is an added charge. Our biggest problem is it’s just me and my two adult daughters…one with autism and one a single income I can’t afford to pay for all three of us and an additional fee. Guess it helps to have a big family.
@SiegleMediaАй бұрын
I’m not sure what state you live in, but in Florida they have respite and personal care services. You could utilize programs like that on vacation and it would be covered. Does your daughter have a support coordinator?

Recent visit in May 2024- got the floating cabana on sale for about $1700 for four people and thought it was well worth it. I agree with the above video. Worth the splurge. Had cabana 16 with Manvar and his why not? attitude was amazing. Manvar made the experience worth it. He treated me like a king and the family amazing. The splurge is worth it if it is on sale. I do think they should include some sort of alcohol with it for the price, at least 2 drinks, come on royal Caribbean/celebrity for the price, you should be giving 2 drinks per person. And the tide really went out between the time we got there, that was not really listed anywhere. For it being 2024, the cruise company likes to be very vague in its website descriptions. But thanks for the video it did help!

I still don’t know why the map matters. If you can request a different one maybe. However, my understanding is they are assigned and what you get is what you get.

The map shows where your cabana will be. We have been able to change ours twice and it was beneficial because we were originally given cabana 1. We would’ve canceled and had it refunded if it couldn’t be changed.

We felt like this about the stingray experience on carnival. Dolphins also. They’re in a small net area and it’s more of a further money maker for them is all. They use it to take pictures that you have to purchase and there isn’t much else. I feel bad for the animals exploited for these purposes. The dolphins at blue lagoon are the worst
