??? I tried doing this today but the black ink came out blurry and not sharp at all. Mainly small flower clusters were just a black blob. Any hints for me ? TIA

So many variables can be the problem. You might need a new black cartridge. If that doesn't work it might be the printer itself.

Have you tried mono vision contacts? Your dominant eye is fitted for distance and the other eye is fitted for near vision.

For this technique I use a Laser Printer photocopy on copy paper. (nothing special). Inkjet prints will run if they get wet. Laser doesn't.

There are times when my image has ink spots, usually black. Is there a trick to avoid this? I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for the video!

Is it an inkjet or a laser printer? If it's a laser the drum is probably a bit dirty. If it's an inkjet, I'm not sure.

@FarmhouseCraftaholics Thank you for replying.😊 It's an HP Inkjet. It doesn't do it all the time, but boy, when it does, it can be frustrating. 💐

Colleen, HP is very sensitive to ink replacements that are not HP. The other inks are less expensive, but they tend to "leak". It could possibly be that you are using a generic?

oh please keep your fingers away from that knife!! Hold it on a hard surface with your fingers out of the way and press down so it's not going to slice your fngers. If it slips it will hit the hard surface. Great video and ideas! I'm trying to give myself permission to throw out 50 yrs. of slides....

@@FarmhouseCraftaholics we will I’m sure. We do craft and paint together. I have helped them make gifts for their parents but it is getting harder to find ideas. Two of the families have 4 kids! Trying to think of something their parents want 4 of! Candles might work!

Did you use mod podge to decoupage onto the metal piece? No smearing?

If you are careful with how much mod podge you use, (you don't need much with tissue paper) you can do it. It takes a little practice, but it's doable.)

My tree is still up, we're waiting for our son to be able to come at the end of the month, some sickness on his side has delayed our Christmas..However, I decorate with snowmen and they stay out till March or so, hate to put them away when we still get snow here in Ohio, don't want them to miss out on all the fun, hahaha
