just finished my first Starburst using fabric I had for Xmas placemats for my laughter in law Now off to make one in my traditional Xmas colours. Was trying to add a photo but can't work out how to do that here in the comments. Thank you again x

Just an idea...I took my invitation to a Staples store and they photocopied for me on card stock... So much easier to bend around!

Maybe I do not understand good in English, but how much cm of ribbon need to cut for create the bow?

If you fold the rectangle in half, it will make your finished piece shorter and you may have trouble with your fabric covering all the foam.

You will want to use at least 60 cm of ribbon for each bow. If you follow the link in the description, I have a free supply list that will give you all the exact measurements you need.

If you are working with Styrofoam, you may need to use something like a marker that will transfer lines without a lot of pressure.

Could you possibly use a round ball? Maybe the fabric would have to be longer?

We haven't tried this fold on a round ball, but I would suggest working with a small ball if this is something you are going to try.

Hi Ornament Girl... I came across this video and it brought back many fond memories of years ago... when I was first married over 50 years ago, my friends and I would meet at each other's houses and make these ornaments for hours... we use to donate them to charities for fundraising purposes...
