I wish that there was not so much of your head in the video. makes it very difficult to watch. And whilst you were making the hair, only one squeeze tells the story you do not have to make all of the hair on camera. plus there was a lot of thumping coming through the mike.
@flinginpots Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for the comments. I’m not a professional KZfaqr and added these for my take home customers. There’s plenty of others out there with out my head and annoying thumping. So feel free to watch those and move on. ✌️

If you have some of the pets' hair, can that be added to the clay as well?
@scottprosser65872 жыл бұрын
You could but it would burn out in the first firing. Raku would be a good way to go 😃

Hello I really did enjoy your video !! I am learning to do the little Gnomes (. A I mean small ). Lol but I am using like Air Dry Clay and I do use Polymer Clay as well . I wish I could make them like yours . I am 100% disabled have been since I was 43 years old and I Love Crafting cause I cannot work . Is there any tips you could give for the use with Polymer Clay And. Air Dry Clay ?? Thank you ! ❤️
@bellabaxter2969 Жыл бұрын
Cathy for air drying clay if for any reason you have to stop your creation i use a damp cloth and cling wrap to not let it dry out . I learnt this at school . Polymere I'm yet to use .x

I luv ur video, n have been wanting to make one of these Little guys 4 a longest time. I have almost everything to make one, the onley thing I don't have is, knowing how much clay u use to start out with, the size of the ball, I can take it from thear, by watching ur video, step by step. Please could u tell me the size of the ball of clay u used ? Thanks so much. N god bless.
@flinginpots2 жыл бұрын
Enough clay for a 6-8 triangle/pie piece shape. 1/4”-1/8” thick Try 1.5 lbs.. doesn’t matter how much u start off with, you’ll cut down to size.

Great video and super project! Just a thought - wouldn't there need to be a hole because the hat traps in air?

With that small amount of air, I’ve never seen it be an issue in the 20yrs I’ve been making clay projects.

What kind of clay is this? Was it air dried? I have tried a few different clays and they have cracked and crumbled...

We use Cone 6 stoneware. Not air dry. Any cone 06-10 twice fire clay should work.

This is amazing 😊 thank you for explaining clearly, my ten year old found this video and decided to try it with play dough. I was so proud, I asked her how she learned how to do this and she send me this video! She painted them and wrote the names of our cats on them and gave them to me as a memory of our cats she’s so sweet.🥰🥰
