imagine how much more powerful vegeta couldve become in a shorter time if he let himself into the father/husband role sooner. like, clearly when beerus hit bulma, vegeta caught a heck of a second wind. if he had more than just his pride to fight for earlier on, he might’ve actually surpassed goku at one point, however short-lived that wouldve been.
