I am from Japan you as foreign person in Japan can't not just do what ever you feels like. I see in some area you are walking through is private property. You are definitely trespassing. If I was resident there you diffnently suspicious and I will confront you. Be careful what you do and respect their privacy and their culture. It 8s common courtesy no matter where you go(other country,)
