日本では建築板金と言います。本谷は1本で長尺で作ります。自社の長尺折り曲げ機等で本谷の長尺を1本で加工し現場配達し建屋の屋根に乗っけて玄関3角本谷の接合部分はハゼにして加工して繋げます。本谷に対し釘打ち等は吊りっ子と言う部材をもちい本体とは別の釘打ち用部材をもちいます。コーキング等も接合部分にもちいます。
