These are pure crap, I had one and the prop shaft snapped and can’t get a replacement so I threw it away. Shame as the engine itself started straight away

Looks like a carp. Here in Pennsylvania we throw those on the banks for the raccoons and other animals to eat.

To be honest it does great for my little boat. I had to service the impeller and foot at 100 hours and it was easy enough by myself. The only thing I have to do occasionally is adjust the air screw on the carb. Has been a great little motor and I plan to continue to test it into next year and see it's longevity.

@@Zanderman2000I’ve had my 6.5 4 stroke for about a year now, no issues at all, It even fell off my boat in a storm and spent a few hours underwater, I changed the fluids and she fired right up

Those rock bass are fighters for their size. That big fish you caught looked kind of like it might be a hybrid of some sort. That was a nice one, for sure.

I purchased mine last night I added the 4 year protection plan on it with tax I paid $799.48.. What lower unit gear lube did you use?

I saw a video of a guy taking it apart and it comes prefilled and it's easy to overfill so I just have been running it with the original I'll replace that and the impeller at 100 hours like the manual says. I did put grease in the fittings all around. I only found 3 😁

If you are worried about E5 and E10 fuel, there is now problems with ethanol. I testet above 50% alchohol in my outboards and they run better

Luckily the gas station by my house has 100 % non ethanol. I have always used it in all my small engines
