What a great haul, Lisa! My Spanish isn't fluent, but I can tell you that the first Bible was dedicated by a wife (Barbara) to her husband (Zachariah). She is expressing her profound love and appreciation of their marriage together, and she's stating that "may God use him (her husband) to gain more souls to Him" (God)! At least that's what it's saying at the opening. The other Bible was from him to her! What a lovely sentiment and treasure to have ❤

What a great haul! So hard to pick a favorite! My heart skipped a beat when I saw the Bible covered in plastic. I have my mom's old Bible and when she was alive she kept it covered in plastic just like that. The plastic was worn out and tattered when I got it, so I took it off to display the Bible. I had almost forgotten about how it was covered until I saw your video. A sweet memory for me. 😊 I have a little side table in the wood finish in my bedroom exactly like the one you found and I have always wondered what it would look like painted. Seeing yours has made me think I want to paint mine. I love the Johnson Brothers transfer ware. So colorful and would go with about any season. I also admire that big turkey platter.
