mattshea, the point of progression is beating certain things as certain characters, because you havent beaten mom with no mods on in this file, you're stuck at zero percent, please, turn off mods and do it so you can actually earn new items

By the way, pick up every book you find, even if you arent going to use it. If you grab a total of 3 books, youll get the bookworm transformation, which makes it so you sometimes shoot two tears instead of just one

i think bommb are key just switch your number of bomb and key if you have 1 key 2 bomb you get 2 key 1 bomb

Bombs are Key only swaps your current number of bombs and keys, it doesn't let you open doors with bombs

Tip: there is progression in the game you currently have maybe half or less of the items unlocked there are some really cool items and even cooler synergies that you could unlock as well as 34 different characters you can play as with different starting items and stats

Matt, everytime you get a devil/angel deal in the last womb floor you get to continue to an extra floor with a new boss. You get a completion mark and new unlocks from these bosses so i recommend trying to always get the devil and angel rooms in the last womb floor and if you get a joker card in the first womb floor save it for the last one. Once you have beaten moms heart 11 times you can always go to the extra floors whitout needing the devil/angel room. Killing either of the bosses in the extra floors 5 times unlocks you the polaroid or the negative which let you continue even more.

Tip :you should always use ur useless or the collab units because most of them are useless and dont use ur good ubers and legend rares since there gonna be so good aganist the last stage

Hey Matt, if you can kill mom in under 20 minutes you unlock boss rush, which gives you an item but summons 15 waves of 2 bosses each! You can skip fighting the bosses by teleporting out of the room after grabbing an item (the stars card, the moon card, the hermit card, the emperor card, telepills.) And if you kill moms heart in 30 minutes, you unlock an optional area with a boss called Hush! (which is very difficult.)

achievements was disabled because you where doing a seed run. you can still paly with mods.

Matt you just need to defeat mom once without mods to unlock achievments when mods are enabled

Seeing you start out and get excited about simple stuff is so cool, but seeing you only grab Monster Manual and ignore Book of Shadows, because picking up a book and putting it down still counts for transformations wasn't so cool Can't wait to see what other shenanigans you will be up to in this very big game

Go devil deals, matt. If you do three in one run, you unlock a new, very strong character, in Azazel. He starts off with a weaker version of one of the strongest items in the game (Brimstone), but he's still insane. Also if you get three familiar items, such as the Multidimensional Baby, you get the Conjoined transformation. It gives you a triple shot.

Hey matt just letting you know, if you have dead cat and you die when you take a devil deal, if you leave the devil room before it shows the death animation, after you die it teleports you back into the devil room so you can take another deal

Matt, there are actually secret seeds you can put in that do special things, like the endless BASEMENT seed you get from typing basement in the seed menu Also, if you have flight, you can go into a curse room for free, but getting out of the curse room still hurts you, essentially halfing the cost
