I hate the tone on Entwistle's bass, it's sharp and shrill to my ears. And I guess playing with Moon, the whole idea of the 'hold. wait and leave space' thing that the rhythm section does went out the window. None of it should work. It's organised chaos.

Kenney Jones doesn't get the credit he deserves. Following Keith Moon was a no win situation, but he was an amazing drummer for The Who - hat off.

I thought Kenney Jones was a fantastic drummer for the Who. Obviously Keith Moon was impossible to surpass, but he did a great job.

I had seen The Who a couple weeks before this in Birmingham AL and this song rocked the house. It has been many years since Dec 1982 but I believe this was the last song they played that night. The Who sent us out right.

That Simulcast was Fantastic! I never got to see them in Seattle but a friend said it was a way better show than the show The Rolling Stones did the year before. Sound, Lighting, Performance, Etc. This Song is the Perfect Example of a Power Ballad that can only be done, by the likes of The Who. They really were the Greatest Live Band throughout the 70s, and this Show really capped it off, despite Townshend no longer riding in the same Limousines with the others. It truly was the end of The Who. Kenny Jones did a Great Job. Roger's Voice was so strong and John's Bass Playing was, as always, Phenomenal! 🇬🇧❤️🎸🎼🎶🎵

Live music today, and I use that term "live" loosely, has none of the drive or energy or sheer rapture of 1970s rock.
