After reading the service manual I can say with confidence that yes the bike needs to be turned on for a bit and then check oil levels

💯 Facts. I have a Ruroc helmet with the built in stereo tho… and I just crank up the metal 🎸 and block everything else out. Been riding for 30+ years that way now. Used to have a cd player in my jacket pocket and headphones 🎧 on under the helmet back in the day 😂😂😂

🫵🎃 Don’t do it. They’re garbage. Two different friends of mine now regret having bought the new 1250 powerplant. One of them on a Sportster S, the other on a 23 Panamerica. BOTH having nothing but problems. My friend on the PanAmerica, has been in to Harleys shop 3 times now in the first month of ownership… mostly electrical issues, but also the clutch/sensors/other things gone haywire on him… and now Harley Davidson is telling him its his fault… ridiculous. Stay away from that new gen crap… its total junk and HD doesn’t know how to build bikes like that and make them reliable. Either get a VTwin Harley… or if you want that kind of performance, get a jap bike. Period.

Dam that's crazy I have 5000 miles in 4 weeks and 0 issues. I rode from San Diego to Sacramento and back to Orange County in one day. Never had a problem, always starts too

@@Gwosts The PanAmerica is a friend who lives in north California… races R3’s track there. He loved the PanAmerica… wound up giving it back to Harley he had so many issues with it. Never an issue starting it… it was always things like the clutch sensor, throttle, electrical issues and so on… most recently it would only give him about 1/4 of the power… the throttle would cut out about 1/3 twist… that was the last straw with him. Similar issues with a guy named Caseys Sportster S here in Texas too. I won’t buy one because of it. i’m just gonna stick with my 114 traditional vtwin powerplant.

@@hallowsgate3232 that's interesting I've had no electrical issues or anything but I did do a proper break in period where I rode under 3000 rpms for almost 2 weeks then I only would ride up to 5000 rpms and now I'm only going to 8000

I just have heard so many dreadful things, and if you google search you’ll read some spooky things as well. But like all new designs… they eventually work the bugs out. So perhaps the latest ones to be manufactured are better??? 🙏
