An SDQH is my primary shooter. I love it, the write times can get annoying, but when shooting raw x3f instead of DNG it's not as bad space wise. One of the more frustrating things for me has been lens selection. So many great lenses sigma has made for the APS-C sensor size that just aren't *quite* big enough to not have severe vignetting on the larger sensor, but that little bit extra you get on the sides is also very nice to have before you reach that brightness falloff

Now put a 70-200mm f2.8 on it and see how practical it is. Size isn't everything. Usability counts more. And to those that say I just don't get it, after putting a lens on it and attaching a smartphone to it, It is not any smaller than any other compact cameras - Just more useless. The QX1 is from 2014 and they don't make them anymore. Wonder why.

I wish you would buy a K3 monochrome and to a tutorial on how to use the thing at 72 my brain can't get around the book. The same with the K3111.

I started out with a K10D then K5 K3 K3 111 K3 monochrome K1 K70 and a couple of other K's. You know the K5 is still my favorite, easy to use, settings a snack and gives great photos.

i remembered seeing this back then. But i was in dslr land by then. The nikon d40 was ccd too. When I got the d7000 cmos the colors were flatter. Now when I bike I use the cotton carrier, can place my little nikon z30 or little panny m4/3 on my chest.

Why does Nikon sometimes use these weird periscope optical modules in some of their Coolpix cameras which also sometimes have extra low dispersion elements but always have vibration reduction?

I just picked up a QX1. It’s so much fun.

I'm actually active user of Sony QX1, currently paired it with a 16-50 kit. What I love with this camera is the ability to take picture from many interesting perspectives utilizing your smartphone.

This was my first Pentax digital camera. I came to it directly from medium format film (Pentax 645nII). I first used it in western Maui at the black lavascape coast. I was stunned at the true colors right out of camera. It proved to be the beginning of my flickr account. How wonderful to hear a discussion of this camera now. Good video.

I'm an Olympus Air owner (tons of fun, only m43 body I've held onto after switching to Sony) - I'd love to hear more detail about how practical the QX1 is as a shooting experience now with app support questionable. My gut is that an ultracompact MILC body (GM1 - a5000) is just a better overall package than the "displayless cylinder" family.
