Fire Emblem would be a better game if critical hits didn't existed and i will die on that hill. Btw this is shit is why the new titles are strictly in casual mode for me. Sick and tired of restarting a mission because of a random critical or an instant action reinforcement i knew nothing about spawned behind my back and murdered my healer.

@@projectember728 I will never stop simping for Lyn because this was my first FE game and I was terrible at it. Hector and Eliwood were horrendously underlevelled and I was carried through the last level by Lyn, Rath, and late game ringers.

Homie I just wanted to share I just finished an Iron man of FE 7 (it was only normal mode but still) and I got Lyn to a level 12 blade lord and she literally only had 9 defense. Yeah the only thing she did that chapter was fight nergal and scratch him slightly. I was just going for the dialogue. My point is, we all love Lyn, but good lord is she always at the wrong place, at the wrong time 🤣

Unironically a Slim Sword would have been infinitely better here. Sol Katti has to be one of the worst swords in the entire series. It's a complete joke and an insult to the Mana Katti (one of the best swords in the series) by proxy for being related to it.

@@projectember728i guess it’s all subjective, but I think this is a massive downgrade from the FE6 Swordmaster. This one feels jerky and awkward to me, while the Swordmaster’s normal attack and critical hit are both very satisfyingly smooth. I also miss the older Rutger Swordmaster sprite. I also don’t think the sound effect matches as well, but I guess that’s a given.
