If you were a cranes operator you would see this is no easy task with bad twist locks, listing of the ship in shore off shore. The bow out of the water. High tide low tide. Landing a container off shore inshore. Seems you have no insight once so ever about automation on how it works what’s its limitations! Thank you for thinking a highly skilled job one of the most highly skilled jobs at that could just be replaced by automation. Think about your comment before you reply shore me some sort of thought and not because you could never make it as a longshoreman attitude before you reply 💪 I’m sure you will come up with a fantastic comment and per haps even a video showing another country who could care less about there employees showing is how easy it it to automate this job

Pretty neat view. Were you down there working, like a spotter…or just recording? Would be cool to strap a camera to that guy in another video. He was inside the ship and locking the containers down as you brought them in. All these views are pretty incredible to someone, like myself, who has only seen them from miles away. Must be really amazing in person. Thanks.

With safety regulations seeming to be out of control in some areas, I'm stunned they don't require you operators to wear PPE of any kind. "You must wear steel toe boots when operating heavy machinery! Safety glasses must always be worn! Hi Vis always on!" I would laugh if they made you guys do any or all of that when operating. This of course is me not asking why you aren't wearing any PPE, but more making fun of OSHA, and all the memes that come with them!
@Cranedaddytiktok4 күн бұрын
@@Vortechtral we do wear PPE when we go to the Cranes most times we are shuttled straight to the cranes but if you look in my videos, you’ll see my PP hanging in the background and some places do make you wear steel toe shoes
