Every video I have seen is a unique gem. Your analysis is spot on. R D Burman saheb knew as a responsible MD which songs suited Kishore kumar saheb and Mohd Rafi saheb. It's true that whoever the song was picturized on was accurate ❤❤❤

एक्चुअली कुछ गायक जैसे मेंहदी हस्सान सब., ग़ुलाम अली सब., जगजीत सिंह जी आदि पर ग़ज़ल सिंगर्स का ठप्पा लगा दिया गया है लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं है की और कोई सिंगर ग़ज़ल गा ही नहीं सकता है. निसंदेह किशोर दादा ना केवल बहुत बड़े ग़ज़ल सिंगर थे बल्कि एक बहुमुखी प्रतिभा के ढाणी थे.

A ghazal is just a poem with autonomous rhyming couplets, mostly about the pangs of love, so anyone can sing ghazals. The point is does the melody and singing do justice to the words ? Kishore Kumar,s strength is certainly not in ghazal singing !

I have just seen a few videos on your channel and honestly your observation and analysis is one of the most honest and accurate on KZfaq. I have tears in my eyes. I have been listening to kishore kumar saheb since the age of 5 and am now 49.I am a big fan of mohd rafi saheb too but kishore da is my all time favourite. I was reading his biography in English and came across some interesting but very sad information. After his two heart attacks, he was still working at a gruelling pace and doctors in the USA during the mid 80's made it clear that his one lung was damaged and three parts of his heart were also badly affected and not much could be done. Inspite of that he delivered high energy performances in films and live concerts and sound engineers in his US concert said he had the most powerful voice they ever heard. That is truly a Gift from God. ❤❤❤❤

Excellant Milind Saab. U hv proved Kishoreda ws nothing less than a Ghazal singer. His playback songs u mentioned here definitely hd that Ghazal touch. Purani yaaden taazaa ho gayee. Keep the spirit up Saab. Pyar Ajnabi ka Bengali version also sung by Kishoreda (Prem Bado Madhur). I wish u wud hv mentioned Pt. Bhimsen Joshi anecdote here. Regards.

Aaj pahelibaar apka program dekha.Bahut aachha bolte ho.Yeh too sach hai without Rafi saab koi sangitkar aur hero top par ja nahi sakta.Rafi saab ne apne samay ke saab sangitkar ko amar bana diya woh too farishta they.Itna expression duniya main koi nahi ga saka.Jiske liya gaya ushika voice ho gaya.Jyada example nahi dunga jaise Jhohney wakar Shammi K. Rajendra kr.Dilip kr. Dev.
