Very insightful. I wouldn't have thought a simple tire could affect a bike so much especially the UB. Now I think I understand why my smaller Talaria wasn't performing well with monster 100/90-19 rear tire! I'll not make the same mistake next time when I get the UB

Great video man. I have the 2020 450XC-F and also can't believe how hard it hits. I just installed the G2 throttle tamer to make the bottom end less snappy in that tight single-track riding. I've been considering the 500 EXC for something a little less hard-hitting, which led me to your video.

Is that the 21" wheel on the front now? How much additional weight did you gain with the 21"? Is the ride height close to the stock height of 35.8"? Did you experience any performance loss?

I did a video on the 21" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nduIiNh02LfHhnU.html I did put on the 21" front and with the tire, tube and disk it was 4lbs heavier than the 19. Ride height is a couple inches taller and the bike works much better with the 21" front wheel.

buy a Kia, or buy a Mercedes G-Wagon or anything in between. There is something at every price point for everyone. If this is too expensive, why hate on it? It's not too expensive for the fellas who will buy it. We aren't supposed to be all the same.

Let me correct my comment the 6x6, Sparks Motors in Utah was commissioned by polaris to make build a 6x6 ,it really needs to be road legal

It is totally insane that utvs have gotten over 50,000 dollars!!!! Why would anyone pay that much for this over just buying a real pickup!!! Then in three to five years it’s beat to crap and worth 5 grand….

I am debating between an xp 1000 and an xd 1500, both Northstar versions, and would really like to see a drag race comparison between the two as well.

Do you find that the seats are more tilted to the back than your 1000xp? Do you found it more comfortable driving.I have a 2022 1000xp also and I found that my back and legs get tired on long days.I tried the expedition,really comfortable but to noisy,I’m thinking on the Ranger 1500 if it’s more comfortable.You sure succeeded in life,nice dream garage with all those toys 🤙🏼

Great video and I look forward to the comparison video between the XP1000 and XD1500. I have one purchased after watching your video as well. It sure looks higher then the XP1000 in the video but on Polaris website's specs, the 1500 measures 1.5in shorter then the 1000.

Good catch, the XD is taller than the XP. I have the XP with the shock springs full stiff on the front, mid position on rears and the shock eyes in the 1" taller position front and rear. But, I have 300lbs of weight in the bed of the XP in the video. The XD 1500 is stock location on the shock eyes and springs are full soft. So the XD will definitely go higher if one wanted to.

Looking for a bike to ride on road and off-road but yet ride trails and some mx tracks. Will the 450 be a fine around 50 mph ish on road

With only having a 5 speed trans on the 450 XCF/SXF, it is pretty bad on slab and in slow techy single track trails/terrain. The 500 EXC uncorked or, better yet, a 450 XCF-W with the 6th gear, bigger stator, lights, and heavier flywheel would be much better on the slab & slow single track trails, IMHO. But the weak side to those 2 6th gear bikes would be on a MX track. Its a total compromise on what you may want the bike to be better at?

The only issue I see with the machine is, their warranty is ridiculous. 50K, 6 month warranty, then your on your own.

Haha! Thanks, Retired, was in the car biz. Polaris dealer has installed the street legal kit and plow and we are waiting for the plow controller to come off BO so i can pick up the XD1500.
