Do you want any reason for why the writers to give Ash a Genar his first ghost type after this long time was because it took him that long to get over his pain of losing his dad and not having him in his life because his dad is dead. And he got over the death of his dad finally while finally having that dad father figure presence with Kukui in the Alola region. He was finally able to become champion because he mastered his emotions and mastered his ability to overcome all odds in himself. Because Pokémon literally stand for pocket monsters, and sometimes our emotions are monsters within ourselves. I’ve only understood this because of my past.

Ash is not 10 years old, but he sees himself as 10 years old….. I don’t know if you guys know this, but Ash just like me he’s on the spectrum … he has either ADHD or autism probably ADHD… and that’s why his Pokémon his first Pokémon was Pikachu a lightning fast electric Pokémon; because people with ADD are impulsive fast quick thinking outside of the box thinking…. As well, psychologically it takes about 20-25 years to fully mature a person on the spectrum (I can show you that the data to back it up) because they always keep failing over and over and over again.. because they do things impulsively without thinking even if they learn some things, but it takes time for their brains to mature!! That’s why I love Ash. He’s just like me!!

Or maybe just my theory. Remember when ash died in mewtwo strikes back. Boi become petrified maybe at that time he really did die and being revived by the tears of other pokemon turned ash into a humanoid pokemon or having pokemon DNA making his aging slow since most pokemon other than insect types have such long life. What do you think.

@@eljordinio7647 Yeah, I’ve heard a lot of people arguing that Ash was cheating in that battle because “Greninja gave Lucario extra aura” which doesn’t make any sense to me! Like Greninja trained Lucario to better control its aura but how did it give it extra aura? That was never implied in the anime and it doesn’t make any sense! I feel like people just like trying to invalidate Ash achievements.

Tbh the battle bond Greninja that we had in the Sun and Moon games was way better than the abomination that we have now since what we have now does not turn into Ash Greninja like it use too. Even if Ash is no longer in the anime please bring back Ash Greninja in Legends ZA Gamefreak or at least make a different Kalos pokemon gain the battle bond ability to go with Liko in Pokemon Horizons.
