Hi @dinsdn8991 to stop at Bukit bintang you can board from Singapore. I can’t find bus from Larkin to Bukit bintang area. Cheaper option is super nice bus from $28 alight at imbi. From imbi you can walk to Bukit bintang area. Other options you can go to easybook and search Singapore to KL, drop off point you tick: berjaya Times Square, Bukit bintang, imbi, plaza berjaya.

After sg immigration, you go down to the bus waiting area then go out where the bus is going, walk follow the bus direction until malaysia immigration.

@@fulcrumdjk hi. You are welcome. Glad you like it. I don’t know about any construction around tan hiok nee (pasar karat), maybe they never do in the weekend? Near RF side maybe not good idea. But from my personal opinion, it never cross my mind to stay at JB Sentral area, because it’s quite easy to do day trip (unless you’re doing family vacation which involves many people).

This is the site of the former Kotaraya bus terminal. In the past, all interstate & s'pore buses terminates here before shifting to Larkin.

Hi. Zenz hotel is good. One of the most cleanest hotel I stayed in Malaysia. Family stay you mean with kids? It’s just basic hotel as you can see in the video. I just like it because it’s very clean. Other hotels in Kulai maybe you can try country inn or castello hotel in aeon kulai area, but I’ve never been there ya, I think it will be easier to get breakfast in that area.

JB Sentral has lots of hotel but I never stay there because it’s so close to Singapore 😀 better stay at home. Maybe you can try bello hotel.

Hi no. This is nearer to KLCC but not too near. Nearest station kampung Bahru or Chowkit. Can go by goKL bus also. Chowkit is like morning market not night market.

Hi Din. Actually we are 1 stop away to the correct bus stop. For updated version, you can watch this video to get nearer bus stop to JB Sentral. Because this was our first time and we were unsure about the bus stop so we walked 1 more stop away. Hi @dinsdn8991, Thanks and glad you like our video. Johor Bahru public transport is good, clean and pretty much on-time. Drivers are friendly too. Try the nearby area first, such as KSL Mall to “test” and get used with taking public bus in Johor Bahru area 😀 Try not to wear flashy cloth. Blend with local. Bring friend if needed. Cheers 😄

that market looks fantastic.. very tidy and hygienic.. and that's in the outer suburb.. how come the one in central KL chowkit market looks so thirdworld with zero hygiene.. shame on the KL town hall.. if they could improve on all the markets with better lighting and cool fans.. with some art it could turn into a tourist destinations..

I live here for 35 years. Pontian are not really good for tourist to come and spend their time. This town is the least favourite in Johor and very slow in establishment. As you can see here they took almost a year if not more to rebuild that bridge you walk on to get to the cendol place. Sigh, really hope Sultan Johor to have more attention here.
