Total Eclipse 2024 here we come! Fingers crossed for good weather in Garland, Texas! Woohoo!!!

You guys likely ran into one of the supercell thunderstorms that developed that day. There was a small regional outbreak of severe weather and a few tornadoes. I was over in the Brush/ Akron area chasing that day and saw a few tornadoes as well.
@coloradobycar20173 жыл бұрын
It was pretty exciting for us, but also a little scary! I'm glad there wasn't any damage from the tornado we saw.

I would love some snow right now. It is hundred today in Longmont. I can't do the Mt Evan road. I get vertigo. But I love it up there. You have been so great to our channel. Just know we appreciated all that you do for us.

Omg I did squaw pass and little bear Creek rd in my Corolla a month ago. I wanted to do Mt Evans but it was closed (seems it always is when I try to go) and I saw those roads on the map. Little Bear Creek Road looked fun AND IT WAS. Those steep switchbacks were awesome! I felt like a rally car driver. Probably took a year off my cars life 😂 I'm actually glad Mt. Evans was closed. I'd love to see a video from you guys about your top 3 favorite lesser known scenic drives in CO.
@coloradobycar20174 жыл бұрын
We're going to Ouray and Red Mountain Pass next month which is part of the Million Dollar Highway; I've only driven it once during a snowstorm - scary!! Mt. Evans is a great drive, too! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching our video! :)

That sounds like a really nice drive. I actually never heard of it. I am so sorry about your dog. I went to New Mexico on a trip over the holidays. And had to put down my girl during the trip. It was horrible. Thank you for coming by our channel. You have been a good friend to us. You rock

Hey can you please share the web site? We plan on going in 2020 for christmas and just now working on getting a plan going ..... also if you have anything else to share for a fmily to do. (mom dad and 2 kids 6 and 8 ) We would love it

Hi! Thank you for this suggestion; I never think about adding websites, but I will try to do that going forward. The website for Christmas in Color is www.christmasincolor.net/. They had displays both at Water World and Bandimere Speedway in 2019; hopefully they will do it again in 2020. As for things to do as a family, some things that we really enjoy (or that I enjoyed as a kid) are Wings Over the Rockies in Lowry (wingsmuseum.org/), the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden (coloradorailroadmuseum.org/), Elitch Gardens Theme Park (www.elitchgardens.com/), Lakeside Amusement Park (lakesideamusementpark.com/), Denver Zoo (www.denverzoo.org/), Denver Museum of Nature and Science (www.dmns.org/), History Colorado (www.historycolorado.org/history-colorado-center), Denver Botanic Gardens (www.botanicgardens.org/) (they have one of the best holiday lights displays, btw), and the Downtown Aquarium (www.aquariumrestaurants.com/downtownaquariumdenver/). If you can head down to Colorado Springs, be sure to check out Garden of the Gods (www.gardenofgods.com/), Cave of the Winds (caveofthewinds.com/), Manitou Cliff Dwellings (www.cliffdwellingsmuseum.com/), North Pole Colorado (northpolecolorado.com/), Pike's Peak (www.pikes-peak.com/), Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (www.cmzoo.org/), and Seven Falls (www.broadmoor.com/broadmoor-adventures/seven-falls/seven-falls-tickets/). Honestly I could go on and on!! Thanks for watching our video!

Hi Colorado Martini! It is great to know there are other Colorado KZfaqrs out there! We have run across a few fellow Coloradoans but we have had a hard time locating local KZfaq channels. We will check out the Facebook page and maybe we'll join you in May. Thanks for the heads-up! :)

We get to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park several times a year - it's so close to Denver and always a nice getaway/daytrip! We don't walk/hike too much because we usually have our dog with us, and he can't go on the trails in the park, but we will have to check out the Deer Mtn trail! Thanks for watching our video!

Hi, thanks for watching our video and commenting. Whether or not the forest is sustainable remains to be seen, but I do know that theories on how to manage the forest continue to evolve.
